- Since I'm in love with Wildlands Open World, I wanted to share some of my favorite screenshots/wallpapers with you guys!
- Wouldn't it be nice if the Enemy AI took injuries?
- A recreation of the SAS from hunting party
- The Calm Before The Storm.
- Photo mode is *slightly* buggy when in cover with "Tap to aim" active
- 3+ years later, still a really fun game.
- Had these both come up in my news feed this week. Maybe CrossCom and Skell's tech aren't so sci-fi, after all. (Can provide links if interested)
- My Scenic photos
- Terminator mode is fun but the terminators them selves is weird
- Infiltration
- Do you approve of my idea?
- In Breakpoint is “Recoil” bad or good? Why is more bar on Recoil better? (TL;DR: kick is bad, but devs mean “recoil control”, which is good. Saved you a click.)

- Pathfinder class lvl 7 challenge: kill enemy with a headshot from more than 250 meters away 0/1 I literally cannot do this challenge

Wouldn't it be nice if the Enemy AI took injuries? Posted: 28 Nov 2020 12:32 AM PST Instead of more customization, I would like to see enemies take injuries, able to only use their handgun if badly or critically injured, limping in or out of cover, being revived by an enemy medic, maybe using syringes (1 per enemy or maybe enemy medics with 1 syringe to revive one teammate). Being dragged out of danger by their squad, or dragging themselves out of danger, at turtle speed. The animations are already in game, because they happen to the player. How much more immersive it would-be to injure someone only to alert the base, then pick off would be rescuers, while evading incoming fire, like they do to us. Or needing to do more than just shoot the legs of information carriers, tap a leg and an arm so they have limited movement and only the use of a handgun, instead of just having them lay down. On the other side I can imagine the introduction of new bugs/glitches/exploits, I mean "features". But it would be nice if a target you have body shots on can't move at full speed and wield his assault rifle or shotgun with only 2% hp. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Nov 2020 08:22 PM PST What if in a new game, Nomad starts seeing the cutscenes were the helos went down, Weaver getting shot, killing walker. Nomad wakes straight up in bed and says "shitballs, that was a bad dream". Then the cutscene shows him on a plane with Holt, Midas, and Weaver deploying to africa for Wildlands 2. They hunt the drug lords(like the cartel) and the Military police force (like the Unidad). You have to help captives, stop drugs, all the stuff like wildlands 1 but that's exactly what made the game good. I loved the storyline and I would care if I bought the same(but modernized) game. What do you think? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 08:02 PM PST More Better Blues Seems devs can't decide if the term "recoil" in gun descriptions is bad or good. Dictionary definition is "kick". More would be bad. Gun descriptions in game use a variety of confusing terms:
Some don't use the word "recoil", using "kick" instead:
The stat bars for "Recoil" show green when the bar is longer. In the stats definition, this implies "Recoil" is something you want more of. Words that get shown as longer bars:
Clear? Hard to reconcile descriptions saying "less" recoil with the FAL saying "high" recoil, and showing the same on the recoil stat bar. Control Echelon SMG adds a word that could fix all the other descriptions if you add it to the word recoil:
If the stat bar means Recoil Control, then more is clearly good. Accuracy Control, Handling Control, Mobility Control, Recoil Control, all those terms work. These Stats can all be thought of as how you, the operator, control the gun. (Similarly, the upgrades can be thought of as your growing familiarity/skill controlling the gun, rather than changes to the gun.) Then some of the other descriptions could make sense if the word "control" was used appropriately:
Similar on attachments, -7% (aka 7% less) vertical recoil gives you higher or better recoil control. Feedback / Suggestion to Ubisoft Fix descriptions or labels to add the word "control" and fix the less/more/high/low adjectives accordingly. Make the words and the stat bar match. Posted: 28 Nov 2020 08:39 PM PST Not because I can't hit the shots which I can no problem, but the game absolutely refuses to register my fucking kills as a headshot. I fuse the binoculars to make sure I'm at least 260 meters away and then line my crosshair up for the kill and nail a sexy ass headshot and the game is like nope, uh uh, not a headshot how the hell am I supposed to complete this challenge??? Alright, I have finally killed every Behemoth in game. Here's what I've discovered. Posted: 28 Nov 2020 07:38 AM PST While it wasn't necessarily HARD, I just get bored killing them, so put off the last couple until today when I decided to try to refine my strategy just a bit more. Not exactly new information, but with all the new players coming thanks to Black Friday, I thought I'd share. Note that this works solo, coop, or with AI teammates (who really aren't all that useful except as a distraction, or if you want to cheese it really slowly by using sync shot while behind cover). Weapon: M4A1 Class: Panther Consumables: Strategy: You can fire off a few rounds at the sensitive bits, but be ready to toss an EMP grenade again shortly since you've had to wait for your explosives to work. Unload on the blue cylinders that are exposed. Once you blow one up, move on to the next. If another isn't visible, lay into the orange parts, or the area behind where the blue cylinder was to expose that armor, rather than running around not firing looking for another target. Keep EMP grenading it as soon as it comes up, or before a reload. Rinse, repeat. If you run out of MK3s, switch to MK2s. Odds are, unless you get unlucky, you'll never need the MK1s. The reason for the weapon choice: The ROF on the M4A1 is fantastic. Combined with all the recoil-reducing attachments and short barrel, you'll be able to hold down full auto without concern of losing your target. Plus, it's reload speed is faster than LMGs, which is going to be important vs. almost all Behemoths (except the easiest ones, like Lava Shield - that guy took just one mag for me on Normal with the M4). Other alternatives to the Strike Designator: You could also potentially use C4, but you'll need to keep the thing still while you place it all and blow it, which means using more EMP grenades. A better option is to use an underbarrel grenade launcher, since that's easily toggled if you need to open it up, but then you've got to deal with reload time on it while you're exposing the sensitive areas. If you'd rather use the Pathfinder class for the drone strike ability, go ahead, but immediately after you launch your strike, EXIT THE DRONE CONTROLS! The Behemoth will know where you are once you fire off your first strike, so you need to move and EMP that sucker immediately. General thoughts: This is meant to be a fast takedown strategy. Most drones can be sniped from safety using a sniper rifle; in that case, swap out explosives expert for Rolling Thunder, and swap the M4 for the TAC-50 (while it does less damage than the HIT/M82/Zastava, it's a minimal difference and has better range, ammo capacity and ROF, which means more rounds down-range over time). It'll just take longer to do this way. Finally, I recall at least one behemoth also had a turret close by. If you can, sneak up on it and disable it first (Panther excels for this with cloaking spray). [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Nov 2020 07:17 AM PST Anyone who says the Wolves aren't hard enough to fight need to try taking on Los Extranjeros from the Fallen Ghosts DLC. Easily the hardest faction you've ever had to fight in Ghost Recon recently [link] [comments]
