    Can we please improve the quality of missions in Breakpoint?

    Hi ghosts,

    So this is not your usual cosmetic post, but I think many of us can agree that the current playable missions are one of the poorest aspects of this game, and needs to be addressed.

    I must have assassinated over 100 sentinel commanders and stolen enough supply trucks to end world hunger for the outcasts, but all of these have no impact on the world or our game.

    To address this problem, I like to suggest a map conquest type mission that open up relevant side missions where the success of failure makes a difference.

    Here's an example:

    You can go straight for the main mission to take camp weasel or go behind enemy lines for intel

    by going behind enemy lines and scouting the area, you uncover side missions that if completed gives you the ability to call for support

    In the example above, by scouting the area, we uncover intel on strategic locations which opens up the following side missions: Some of them are:

    • Surface to Air Missile Sites - Disabling them allows you to call air strikes for your main mission or helicopter medevac.
    • Taking out the Communications Tower - which delays or disrupts the radio man from calling reinforcements.
    • Clearing an Enemy Road Check Point - so that it clears the road for an armored support team
    • Locating nearby enemy QRF base and disabling them

    Again, you don't have to do these side missions, and can go straight to the main mission. But securing these objectives increases your chances of success in the main mission.

    What do you think? What other cool type mission ideas do you have? Would really hope you can support this idea to inspire the devs to develop relevant missions that are appropriate to special force operators and that are part of an military operation. I can't stand any more side missions as a treasure hunter or a detective traveling around Auroa like the post man.

    Edit: Holy sh!t I got a gold!? Who did this? Thank you so much my first one! Let's hope that this inspires the studio to make more appropriate special forces missions and side missions that can impact the probability of success for our main mission!

    Noticed that Ubisoft uses a way more detailed Nomad, Fixit, Fury and Vasily for their promos and trailers. They're so detailed I just wonder why we don't get them in-game and I hope to see them in the futur. The ones currently in the game looks so bad.. Here's an example of the Nomad Ubisoft uses..

    Why would they go from Future Soldier gear to current year Spec Ops gear in Breakpoint?

    The Ghosts have always had the cutting edge prototype equipment at their disposal.

    Regardless of the whole premise of them being stranded on the island without support, they showed up in gear as if they traveled back in time, even Advanced Warfighter had more advanced gear than what they brought.

    Where's the IWS, Land Warrior and Future Force gear they always had?

    I'd assume they would still be wearing gear from Future Soldier, so what's with them evolving backwards in military tech?

    If there's one thing that I would like to see in Ep.3, is an overabundance of Future Soldier gear, like everything from PvP and the campaign, especially cross coms, new and improved and original IWS, Land Warrior and Futrure Force gear.

    Ghost Recon has always been about the cutting edge prototype tech of the future military, please bring that back.

    Ubi, please add ability to color silencers "Kilim", "Hive" and "Prism". The same applies to NVG or make them black or tan by default depending on selected camouflage.

    Pausing while sprinting quits the game (PC)

    In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, has anyone else noticed that Shift + Esc quits the game? Or at least it asks whether I'm sure I want to quit. I, like many people, use Shift for sprinting. So pausing while sprinting is a common action, and frequently brings up this message. Very annoying and I can't imagine who could possibly want this kind of functionality...

    AI Squadmate trailer behavior vs reality

    In the AI squadmates trailer, they mention how giving them different weapons will drastically change their behavior and they show this by having Fixit with a shotgun closing the distance, Fury with a rifle close to you, and finally, Vasily with a sniper perched up on a hilltop in the distance.

    Everyone can say after playing with them squadmates for less than 5 minutes that they don't act the way they did in the trailer.

    And the reasoning is simple, those weren't actually AI's, they were just recording footage with 4 players, hoping people wouldn't notice.

    It's disgusting.

    (I posted this as a comment on a different thread but I think it's important enough that it should be discussed at large)

    I'm sorry Ubisoft, but at worst, you guys lied about this or at best, are so out of touch with your product that you didn't realize you were lying to the community.

    I got the blueprint and died shortly after but the game still tells me I acquired it on the location info.

    I want to get the platinum trophy for ghost recon but there is only 1 more mission but it doesn't show up on the tac map. does anyone know how or where to get it?

    Here is why solo moments in Wildlands will always outdo Breakpoint for me. No drones, no rush. Just you, the enemy and atmosphere. Also the absence of a few movement bugs helps!
