Demand a finished game on release, or refuse to buy it altogether. No more of this "release the game and fix it on the go" non-sense. We've tolerated it long enough and these companies keep releasing progressively more broken games each passing time we let it fly. Enough is enough.

Enemies should not be able to see in pitch darkness

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 06:34 PM PDT

The new Deep State DLC has definitely improved the game and made it an enjoyable stealth experience. My main gripe with the game stealth wise is the enemies are somehow able to see in pitch darkness where I'd need my NVGs to see.

Rewatching the old Splinter Cell games, enemies couldn't see in total darkness so it should be a feature in this game. This would seriously improve stealth imo as there'd be less enemies cheesing you in total darkness.

Also enemies shouldn't be bloodhounds just because someone on the other side of the base was shot

Edit: Dark areas also need to be MUCH darker. On regular settings there is 0 reason to use NVGs so dark areas need to be near pitch. I've had to manually adjust image settings to make NVGs actually useful

Npc behavior needs a big overhaul

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 01:51 PM PDT

Apart from their stupid lines that they repeat over and over, their behaviors when you are infiltrating in a mission or even after you clear out a base, it's just not realistic and they completely break the immersion

For instance, if any of us were "hostage" and forced to work for a group of terrorist, and you see a guy killing them to set you free, the last thing you would do is to react annoyed at the guy who is saving you.

Another thing that I have noticed is that many times during the firefights, they act normal like nothing happens, instead of going into cover and being scared as any human being would do in a situation like this

One last thing that I have noticed as well and that it looks terrible is when you clear a base of enemies they just keep walking around with all the enemies corpses laying down in the floor like nothing.

They keep their routine and it's just stupid, it makes zero sense. They should be gone from there when you clear out the place which leads to the fact that they should improve and bring more life to the island with npcs running away and such.

So yeah I believe that npcs right now are a complete mess and need a big overhaul

These goddamn drones are getting smarter.

Guns should get a boost with gear score off

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 04:55 PM PDT

Weapon performance for the game was clearly designed with boosts from the tier system in mind. With the system off, weapons should get a boost in their scores to make them on par with the rest of the game.

I think they need to do a balance pass, too. Extreme should make enemies more deadly and smarter but they shouldn't also become sponges, taking 5 or 6 HV rounds center mass - or at least give them injuries too.

Forcing action during missions is such a bad gameplay design

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 11:33 AM PDT

Seriously, why do they force us going guns blazing? Those missions where you have to hold position and shoot are not fun, and on top of that, they clearly aren't design to be played in single player. It's just unbelievable that Ubisoft don't realize that playing solo and forcing these situations where 200 enemies come at you is not fun, it's annoying and extremely difficult

I am replaying the campaign with immersive mode alone and these situations are seriously putting me off to play the game

How to pick up bodies faster (Ranger Roll)

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 04:58 PM PDT

I'm sure most players who enjoy playing stealth would agree that picking up bodies takes too long to be useful. Which reminded me of this video I saw a while back of how to do it quickly in real life . Lifting dead weight alone as it turns out is really hard. Its like picking up a 180 pound bag of pudding with sticks in it. But it looks like it can be done quickly with the ranger roll.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Features and Changes

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Features and Changes

I really like the direction the game is heading after this update. I hope the devs don't just abandon it after Episode 3. As some of my previous posts show, I have some ideas for features i'd love to see implemented into Breakpoint. First of all, I think the item wheel needs a complete rework so we dont have to keep going in and out of menus just to use things in our inventory. If you are going to give us an item wheel then put everything on it!

    Item wheel rework

You may notice in the reworked item wheel there are skill slots. I think we need some new skills in the game. Like many of you I have boat loads of skill points just sitting there that I can't use. I'd really like to see skills that are actually something you can use, not just buffs or passives. Things like being able to whistle to attract enemies would be really cool, and implementing them this way through the item wheel is an easy way to do it.

    Skill examples

I have no doubt that many of you have great ideas for skills and new items that could be in the game, so please comment down below what you would like to see. The next thing I want to talk about is cosmetics. There are so many missing from Wildlands for starters. Not only that but it would be great to see items from the likes of Ghost Recon Phantoms and Future Solider.

    Some gear examples

Finally there are a couple of QOL gameplay improvements that I think are really needed, especially for stealth gameplay.

    1. Make picking up bodies a lot faster, including picking up wounded teammates. Its extremely slow at the moment and I'd never opt to do it over simply reviving my coop partner. If it was faster to pick him up and run to cover it would make for a better, more thrilling gameplay scenario.

    2. Melee takedowns are too slow and not varied enough. This is frustraiting especially because there are actually loads of contextual takedowns in the game that we hardly ever get to see. Many rely on you either being on a slight incline on the terrain or being in vegitation. Please remove these restrictions so that the takedowns are a lot more varied. Also, just make all the takedowns available with all knife types. This would also add to the variety that we get to see.

I was messing around with clothing options and ended up really happy with this infiltrator style outfit

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:32 AM PDT

Did my first behemoth fight. Immersive mode, 0 explosives left, 1 syringe left, finished him on my LAST mag. That timing felt damn good.

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 10:39 AM PDT

Whittled away at it solo for about 15 minutes. When I knew my ammo was running low I started picking shots a lot better. Right when I fired the finishing shot, my "do the dishes" timer went off too so I even kept the wife happy. Had to share this small victory. Haha

Drones single handily ruin this game

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 03:24 PM PDT

So I've just bought the game after the latest update for the sole purpose of playing immersion mode (fuck the original formula) and so far I'm having quite a lot of fun minus a few minor things. However the quad patrol drones are making this game a living hell as far as stealth and IMMERSION go. It might just be me and I'm curious on everyone's thoughts but these drones make stealth almost impossible and once you are spotted they are ridiculously hard to take down. Thoughts?
