Here's hoping the immersive mode is a game changer

If only we had a small amount of this customization in game

The only one feeling hunted in this game are the DEV's...

We really should have had info on the February immersive update by now.

It's getting kinda ridiculous. The Terminator stuff was cool but it would be really nice to just know what to expect.

I never got to play the OTTs but I keep hearing what people thought about them and here is what I have to say...

    Posted: 10 Feb 2020 12:31 PM PST

The OTTs sound like what this game should have and could have been. It's original vision. Proper survival mechanics, the need to conserve bandages, eat, drink, conserve ammo and so on. More persistent and recurring injuries...

And a lot people cried about it.

Well, frankly, I think that vocal minority that slipped through into the OTTs where, in a word, casuals.

They've likely had their fun with the game, sold it and moved onto COD. The purists, the long time fans and the ones still sticking it out in this sub... We WANT what the OTTs had in mind. Hell, go all in on that vision. We want the spec Ops experience. Make our guns need cleaning, jam up and require maintenance. Make us run and hide from terrifying enemy special forces. Force us to decide between using that last bandage or not taking the risk of stopping and being caught.

Ubi marketed the game to a wide, casual audience and it failed spectacularly because it can't be all things to all people. On top of that they alienated the people that actually wanted the game to succeed and be a hardcore stealth shooter in the first place. It's ironic and pretty sad.

Ubisoft now has the chance to give us the true tactical third person shooter we where promised. Where our choices matter. Where one mistake costs the mission.

If anyone at Ubisoft is listening, just. Make it. Ghost Recon.
