    We are thrilled to be celebrating 20 years of Ghost Recon with you! None of this would have been possible without your continued support over the years. To show our thanks, we are giving away Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon®, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands Fallen Ghosts DLC and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint Deep State Adventure for free! You'll be able to redeem all three starting October 5 up until October 11. Once you've redeemed the game, you will be able to download or play it whenever suits you best. No time constraints. Read below for more information on the redemption process.

    But that's not all! We are giving away three free skins from iconic Ghost Recon games. Starting November 2, you'll be able to redeem three full gear sets for free: Scott Mitchell from Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter®, Alicia Diaz from Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® 2, and John Kozak from Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier®.

    Available from October 5, 7 PM CEST to October 11, 7 PM CEST. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® can be claimed via the Giveaway page or via Ubisoft Connect PC client. From the Web flow:

    1. Go to the Giveaway page
    2. Choose the "Ubisoft Connect PC" platform.
    3. Log in.
    4. The game is then added to your game library.

    From the PC Client:

    1. Open the PC launcher.
    2. From the news page, click on the "Claim now"-banner for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon®. Alternatively, go to your game library and find Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® under Free games. Click "Add to my games".
    3. The game is added to your game library.

    • TOM CLANCY'S GHOST RECON WILDLANDS FALLEN GHOSTS DLC

    Available from October 5, 7 PM CEST to October 11, 7 PM CEST. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands Fallen Ghosts DLC can be claimed via the Giveaway page or via Ubisoft Connect PC client. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands base game is required to play the Fallen Ghosts DLC. Via the Giveaway page:

    1. Go to the Giveaway page
    2. Select your platform
    3. Follow the next steps according to your platform.
    • For Ubisoft Connect PC: Select "Ubisoft Connect PC", log in, the content will be added to your game library

    Available from October 5, 7 PM CEST to October 11, 7 PM CEST. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint base game is required to play the Deep State Adventure.

    1. Launch Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint on your preferred platform (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Stadia).
    2. Go to the Expansion tab in the in-game store.
    3. The Deep State Adventure will be available for 0 Ghost Coins.
    4. Click on the Adventure to own it.
    5. You'll need to restart the game to get the mission unlocked. An in-game pop-up will appear.

    You must be 18 or over at the time of entry. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Fallen Ghosts DLC and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint Deep State DLC may only be claimed once per Ubisoft Account. Ubisoft will not offer alternative giveaways. Ubisoft Connect PC app is required to play Tom Clancy Ghost Recon. Owning a copy of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is required to play the Fallen Ghosts DLC. Owning a copy of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is required to play the Deep State DLC.     I just want to emphasise here how bad the situation is.

    The first ever Ghost Recon redefined the shooter genre tremendously and cemented the franchise as a magnum opus for Ubisoft and Redstorm Entertainment. It continued to bring something fresh to the table with every major release it had. GR never tried to copy gametrends but mixed them up with its own style and charme! Also if we look at the whole catalogue of TC - Games, almost everyone of them revolutionised their respective franchises. Keep in mind Splinter Cell was an answer to METAL GEAR SOLID the most advanced game to at this time and still a benchmark in history - and it succeded!! Why?? Because the developers gave a fck, changed the story because Michael Ironside wouldn't have been on board otherwise and tried to do something special. And that was the quality of a lot of ubisoft games back than - they did something special. Every game was its own thing and was appreciated by (hardcore-)fans as such. Do you really think people want a new Prince of Persia decades after the last installment because the MP mode and the skins were so cool and because it was the same as every other slasher/ third-person adventure game?? No. To make matters worse this ignorant and stupid mindset to chase after games hasn't worked the last time either: Have you forgotten the abysmal release of Breakpoint??? Have you forgotten that it took you one whole year to revamp the whole game so it deserves the name Ghost Recon??? Well let me remind you Ubisoft, you wanted every game to be a RPG, while not knowing anything about the genre. Breakpoint is literally Destiny but in the state of its FIRST YEAR it came out, which was a catastrophe!!!! Loot, weapon blueprints, strikes, a FCKN RAID followed by a live service model. And after all this time and critique and the frustration of your entire fambase you really thought it was a solid idea to transform this franchise in a Battle Royal mode?? AND ON TOP OF THAT: all this noise after you patted yourself so hard on the back almost breaking your arms for "learning to listen to your fans and finally understanding what went wrong". From the looks of it your answer was GR: Frontlines.

    Ubisoft, you fcked up so bad this time that your while community just can not see the light at the end of the tunnel. The 20 Years Anniversary will be remembered!

    TL;dr: Give the IP to a team that cares. Stop making Tom Clancy Games. You are an embarrassment.

    Its been over 24 hours since 'that' happened and I am genuinely grieving.

    Gutted.

    Which is kind of embarrassing as an adult, it is only a game! but I can't shake how angry that has made me. I have never genuinely boycotted a game but I won't be playing, downloading or even entertaining videos on youtube about that.

    I still have all the games and don't own the consoles to play anymore. I just take pride in the collection.

    The obvious answer is complete greed and lack of respect for the fans.....who are the ones giving you the money ubisoft.....but...what? how could a rational human make that decision? This is like GTA stopping you stealing cars! This is going to play Fifa and the football players start fkin bowling on the pitch. This is Red Dead for Vegans.

    How many of you play Ghost Recon because it's the rare THIRD PERSON shooter.

    How many of you play Ghost Recon because of all the customisation on your character that looks cool IN GAME? I spent forever working the tiers in wildlands for that operator bandana. Wouldn't care now, my customisation is to look cool on my screen not to show off and brag on yours.

    but you can admire 99 other peoples outfits and guns just not yours unless you love an inventory HUD which is effectively a glamorous excel document and although essential in gaming its always the worst part of a game.

    How many of you play Ghost Recon for the tactical, methodical, stealth (thats the ghost part) espionage and intelligence gathering ( thats the reconnaissance part)?

    now you will run around claiming as many kills as quickly as possible as your timed......your not an elite ghost....your general infantry, youv'e been demoted from operator to bootcamp noob. SAS squadron leader to Supervisor in Tescos in one game WTF!

    Did you play Ghost Recon as it advanced through the generations as it was more demanding than the average milisim game.

    yeah thats gone it may be age rated but its aimed at prepubescant kids. Your too old and poor. Your mum might get you it and let you download it because its free for christmas though.

    Every quality in that franchise that i play for has been removed. Every quality I hate in other military games ( why I play GR) has been added.

    I've got Farcry 6 downloaded and I feel jaded waiting till tomorrow. I was excited now I feel like deleting it in spite. I won't under the pretense it wasn't ubisoft bucharest but it's definitely killed the buzz.

    A nomad is a wanderer ubisoft! something worth considering when checking your finances on this in the future. you may find they moved on.

    Future Soldier may only ever existed in the past!

    After this psychiatric professional is done with myself. I'm sure there will be plenty of work and avenues of employment at the Ubisoft board meetings. I'd advocate and sponsor you, send a reference create an army of millions of supporters to scream your name at them....but frankly they won't listen.

    Bring back SOCOM Navy Seals, Ranger elite. Syphon Filter. because the ghosts are done.

    I know it's a lost fight, but then I thought about splinter cell conviction: The alfa version was shown to the public in a gameplay trailer and it got disliked by everyone so ubisoft took back the early game to the the drawing board

    I am not saying that they will do the same with frontline, but at least there is a tiny little hope that making us hear our voice on their feedback section (as they invited us to do in the reveal video) could potentially make a difference

    If they see that 99% of feedbacks are negative something may happen, who knows

    I myself am skeptic that the same fate of conviction will happen to frontline but it's better trying and failing than not trying at all.

    P.S I already saw a few comments on ubisoft forum of people who liked frontline, jesus
