Changes I'd like to see (Breakpoint)

    Posted: 08 Aug 2021 12:34 PM PDT

Breakpoint has come a long way since the catastrophe it was at launch, but these are a few changes I'd still like to see (some more minor than others) before the game is retired:

•Customizable detail color (every camouflage has a secondary "detail color" and it often clashes with the camo)

•Non-sentinel road traffic (the autonomous trucks that can be found at Skell facilities could make the roadways less empty)

•Boat traffic (so much water, SO MUCH WATER, completely unutilized; autonomous cargo ships traveling around Auroa and to/from Golem island would be epic)

•Escalation mechanic (another relic of Wildlands sorely missed in Breakpoint; certain factions and/or locations on Auroa should come with an escalation factor like Unidad has in Wildlands)

•ACOG sight for Koblin (like, come on)

Enemy aggression & OP AI teammates

    Posted: 08 Aug 2021 12:31 PM PDT

Something which has bothered me since launch and really ruins the experience for me is the lack of AI aggression. Unless they're a breacher, they rarely move to engage you, and way too often, I'll be left with a scavenger hunt to find the last few guys, who are usually hiding behind a desk repeating the same, generic combat barks. This is especially annoying when you play with no enemy map markers.

The enemy AI also take way too long to react to being fired upon. I've had moments where there's a group of three dudes, I'll pop one in the head and the other two will stay next to their dead friend, looking around slowly instead of rushing for cover. I feel like this needs to be fixed, whereas enemy aggression could be added to Ghost Experience Parameters, along with enemy quantity, if possible.

And the last thing is AI teammates. They're really OP and broken, even without their new abilities. They tend to just wade in to combat, tanking bullets and annihilating almost anything in their way. They would be much more enjoyable to have around if they'd have less health, but perhaps smarter use of cover. Also, for the love of God, please stop them from stating the obvious with the "Equip a silencer to stay quiet" and "You're hurt Nomad! Get to cover" stuff. It's frustrating to hear this, and we have enough audio and visual queues to know when to equip a silencer and when to take cover.

This made my experience so much better, wish I knew sooner!

Probably preaching to the choir, but honestly, turning off the crosshair completely makes this game infinitely more fun. Was checking out some videos on YouTube and thought it looked cool but honestly wasn't prepared for such a simple change to amp things up so much. CQC and clearing rooms makes you feel so badass! Will never go back.

Do You Find "Bad Luck Failures" Frustrating?

    Posted: 08 Aug 2021 04:47 PM PDT

I play Ghost Recon on the hardest difficulty settings available, and enjoy the hardcore experience of taking an hour to carefully clear a camp. Certain missions - especially escort and delivery missions - require you to then exfiltrate from the camp while protecting a valuable NPC or making sure not to die before you deliver an item. While I generally find these to be enjoyable, they're always stressful, and I've failed them too many times by running into a random patrol or having a convoy go by on the road - and even more by accidentally crashing a vehicle or trying to land in an area with not enough space. The frustration for me then lies in having to repeat the camp clear: after several hours, a dozen or so attempts, and a grueling, dragged-out camp clear, I feel that I've solved the puzzle - and I'm not interested in solving it again. Based on how you play Ghost Recon, do you think adding a checkpoint for when a camp is clear (or a similar mitigation strategy, such as calling the mission complete when you first free someone) would add to, or detract from the game?

    Skell credit farm strategy

    Posted: 08 Aug 2021 12:47 AM PDT

Basically involves farming the behemoth drone that replaces the cerberus boss when the the raid is deactivated

1: equip perks Sensor Hack and rolling Thunder the third perk is up to you

2: equip Koblin or any weapon with a drone damage perk

3:activate gear level not (not required but extra loot drops will give bonus credits)

4: fast travel to golem Island sector 3 eastern bivouac (this is the closest one) and kill the behemoth

5: fast travel to any Sector 1-2 bivouac this will guarantee the drone to spawn again

6: repeat step 4-5 in order repeatedly
