Ghost Recon - Having back panels for plate carriers would be a great addition to the game, with plenty of variants available to add. If not added now, maybe next game?

    A little rant…

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 01:54 PM PDT

    Hey all,

Hope you're all ok, so gonna make this short and sweet. When someone does a loadout, any loadout whether based on a real world operator or regiment, if that person then makes some alterations to it, that's completely fine….it's not anyone's business to but in and kick off because you went with quad nods instead of something other than them.

If you're that triggered by whatever someone shows off, go outside and take a deep breath and remember this is just a damn game. There's no need to be toxic about a damn character's loadout.

Genuinely do worry about some people in the world….

Aimed at the Old School GR Players

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 01:20 PM PDT

Just want to gauge opinions on this idea but WHAT IF!

at the release of the next GR title they were to pull a Call of duty style event and release a Re-mastered Version of the Original Ghost Recon complete with the Desert Siege, Island Thunder and Tropical Storm DLC's still keeping to the original Storylines but with completely modernized graphics?

Would there be an overall interest in something like this?? I'm Keen to hear your answers on this idea?

Does Ghost Recon have a Identity Crisis?

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 08:07 AM PDT

After all the cool cosplay thing of Navy Seal, Marine Recon...etc that you can play around with Ghost Recon Breakpoint customization, have you ever wonder how the ghost can be identify with?

I understand that ghost is such an elite special forces that they can be anyone, anywhere, but honestly I dont feel special being one in Ghost Recon Breakpoint (I know many of you like the low-vis appearance of a SOF). All the poster or commercial content describes default Nomad (our lead character) with civilian clothes (big red shirt in a tropical island?). We can create our own character with military appearance but I believe its purpose is microtransaction first hand (which Ubisoft has practiced in many game of their own and frankly, they are pretty good at it).

Coming back to other older game of Ghost Recon, GRAW and GRAW2 lead character made you felt like a badass SOF with high tech thing which should be used by the elite SOF. In GRFS, you know you are controlling a real Ghost (military costum - with invisibility - even not completely) is the damn badass detail which fit nicely with the Ghost theme.

In conclusion, I hope in the next game, Ubisoft still give us the character costumization like we have till this day and the design for lead character/teammates where I can truely feel like a Ghost.

    Integrated Suppressor Testing

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 10:12 AM PDT

I did some "Integrated Suppressor" testing today, to determine whether they take the -20% silencer damage penalty(using Assault class). TLDR: M4A1 Tactical takes the suppressor penalty, integrally suppressed SMGs do not.

I used the dirt bikes outside of Erewhon as my targets(since there is 4 of them there). Basically, I tested "Tactical" variant vs "Normal" variant both silenced and unsilenced, counting how many shots it took to set the bike on fire. Here's what I found:

Scorpion Evo 3 Tactical: 27 shots. Scorpion Evo 3 with Suppressor: 34 shots. Scorpion Evo 3 without Suppressor: 27 shots.

Result: Scorpion Evo 3 Tactical doesn't take suppressor damage penalty.

Vector Shorty: 25 shots. Vector with Suppressor: 32 shots. Vector without Suppressor: 25 shots.

Result: Vector Shorty doesn't take the suppressor damage penalty.

M4A1 Tactical: 29 shots. M4A1 with Suppressor: 29 shots. M4A1 without Suppressor: 23 shots.Result: M4A1 Tactical takes the suppressor damage penalty.

Silver Stake Tactical with Suppressor: 21 shots. Silver Stake Tactical Without Suppressor: 17 shots. Silver Stake with Suppressor: 21 shots Silver Stake without Suppressor: 17 shots.

Result: Silver Stake Tactical is weird.... Supposedly has an integrated suppressor, but you can add a suppressor to the muzzle? Is this actually silenced without the suppressor? Doesn't sound like it. Thus Silver Stake Tactical appears to take the suppressor damage penalty.

Untested(because I don't have them unlocked): MPX Tactical, Vector Quantum. If there are any other integrally suppressed weapons, let me know and I'll test them too(assuming I have them unlocked).

I honestly Think breakpoint did the Most positive comeback ever when it comes too ubisoft games

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 03:33 AM PDT

Like look at asscreed the newest one is a shitfest and the next one Will be a online game lol, honestly that they even added immersive mode and said fk you too that awful borderlands system is such a Fantastic move.

Yes the game should have been Good from the start but too fix your misstakes should also get some applaudes, honestly Most modern ubisoft games sucks, they are pure garbage Only other franshcies that has yet too be kinda ruined are far cry.

And i wont hold out hope for a New ghost recon game or if we get a game that it Will be the same studio.

Honestly i dont Think that the higher ups at ubisoft liked that the ghost recon developers tried too fix breakpoint, i Think they just wanted too leave that game and force the developers too help with the New asscreed. Ubisoft loves money, they get no money from Free updates, which breakpoint got alot of. Honestly breakpoint and wildlands dont feel like ubisoft games sometimes, Miles better animation and movement on the character then asscreed.

I know it probably won’t happen but

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 01:45 PM PDT

It would be amazing if they remastered wildlands and added the breakpoint game mechanics and it's customization and graphics. Wildlands had such great story and I wish breakpoint mechanics and customization were involved.

Is there any possible way to restart all the missions without making a new save file?

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 03:09 AM PDT

I've been bored out of my mind cus there's no missions todo since i've completed the game and i've been thinking there should be a option to lock all missions and be able todo them all over again. Would this be a good idea for Ubisoft to implement?.

Playing through future soldier now and wondering a lot of things...where and when and why did GR switch to open world? So much I miss from the mission elements and cutscenes, the old games flow better and feel more concise...

    Are the Crossover Missions Canon?

    Posted: 24 Aug 2021 05:32 AM PDT

I'm new here, so I don't know if this has already been asked, but are the Terminator and Predator missions canon?

I'd like to consider the Splinter Cell and r6s missions as canon.

I wish the dialogue was better in Breakpoint

    Posted: 23 Aug 2021 10:00 PM PDT

I've never played a game with so much dialogue that is so empty. They dedicated a ton of time creating these conversations that don't really add anything to the game. The side missions are pretty much all the same two-dimensional stereotypes offering fetch quests and the story missions don't need any dialogue. From the beginning of the game we know who the villain is, what his motivation is, what his plan is, and how he intends to do it. There's no mystery to uncover. Maybe I'm missing something but I've never wanted to skip conversations so badly in any other game.
