We need Signal flares, to craft, in the Inventory. Please. Posted: 31 Aug 2020 02:23 PM PDT We really need RED and GREEN torches that can be crafted in inventory. The column of smoke should be at least as BIG / BIGGER than that of the wolves. It would be much MORE helpful for the immersion and fun in COOP meetings. [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Aug 2020 12:29 PM PDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0g50Pv0X8o Please Ubisoft, take notes from this video. There are currently no realistic shooters on console, yet there is a MASSIVE market for them. Look at Escape From Tarkov and Arma. Escape From Tarkov, one of the most inaccessible, realistic shooters on the market is massively popular and is making tons of money (without microtransactions!). That money could be YOURS Ubisoft, you just have to make the good, tactical, realistic game that the community has been asking for. Please stop giving us bullet sponge enemies, HUD icons for EVERYTHING in the play area, paintball gun bullet drop, stupid AI, drones, tier based weapons, etc. You could literally just make a watered down version of ARMA 3 and everyone would buy it. Go back to your roots. The old ghost recons were actually tactical and difficult. And make a first person mode please! This will bring in an even wider audience from COD and BF. I know this video is being shared a lot on the sub right now, but idk any other way to attempt to get Ubisoft's attention. [link] [comments]

So no official comment about the Episode 03 kerfuffle? Posted: 31 Aug 2020 12:25 PM PDT Are they really going to stay silent through this? It was an obviously mistake -- but from my PoV, it speaks to Ubi's entire philosophy about communication with the playerbase. [link] [comments]
Major mistakes in Breakpoint game design Posted: 31 Aug 2020 03:09 PM PDT Breakpoint is a very cool idea, but the implementation is poor. After all, people (GR fans). want to see a serious tactical game (albeit with barbie operators). And not another Farcry/Division, they expect something else from the GR. Highlights which I would like to see corrected. 1- System "RPG" it is quite possible to implement it by making it more logical(if you cannot get rid of it completely). Instead of "pumping" (adding skills), it was possible to implement a system with improved gear and equipment. After all, this island is full of advanced technologies (like 3D printing complex parts and drones). On which, having blueprints and the necessary components, you can improve your equipment, drones and weapons. For example, finding blueprints and collecting resources / spare parts (drones and weapons) this system that are already in the game. Improvements allow you to increase the duration of the drone, add new features to it, such as an autonomous mode (in which a drone hanging over a base or camp marks opponents), or the ability to attach a weapon with a silencer to it, etc. Then, after the drone's battery is discharged on the minimap (using a cross-com system or an analogue), the last positions of the enemy are displayed, and not the place where he is now, this will diversify the gameplay and justify the presence of a HUD. Depending on how and how this system will be "pumped", its capabilities will be expanded. Upgrading equipment with blueprints (and other technologies found in Skell Laboratories). Strengthening protection, reducing the weight of equipment in order to increase mobility, various NVGs, optical camouflage (whether it be capes or advanced uniforms) and so on, which should not be just cosmetics (enough shirts, jackets, etc.), but be functional items that affect on characteristics that can be improved depending on the style of play. The result is the "pumping" system so desired by the developers, but more logical and meaningful. 2- Weapon system. The solution to the ballistics problem (the bullet should remain a bullet, not a paintball). Correction of such trifles as incorrect magazine capacity and weapon dimensions (like g28). "Analysis" of weapons in order to obtain new parts (barrels, butts, sights, etc.). Collect drawings for printing advanced modules like expansion joints, magazines, handles, etc. we must also spend the resources collected during the raids on the enemy camps. You don't need hundreds of stocks, handguards, barrels and more, but 4-5 options would be much better than what we have now, give the players the ability to create assemblies themselves (like assault, tactical, etc.). Together with the removal of the stupid restriction on the installation of scopes and handles, this greatly diversifies the number of possible weapon assemblies for any style of play ... Various little things, like adding the ability to send a cartridge into the chamber (even Division LOL has it), a couple of types of ammunition for each type of weapon, like bullets / shot for shotguns, armor-piercing / FMJ / HP or Sp for assault rifles, etc. 3- AI. It is clear that AI is constantly improving and it takes time, but there are some things that can be fixed. For example, it looks absolutely not logical that an opponent wearing a sweatshirt can withstand as many hits as an opponent wearing a bulletproof vest. There should be no bullet sponges in the game, but the vest should protect against pistol bullets and a certain amount of AR shots, and an opponent who does not have armor should be killed instantly ... This is a trifle, but the perception of the game is built from trifles ... AI vision, some types of AI (like snipers) have at least some ability to detect, unlike other blind "kittens" who hardly notice the enemy standing 100 meters away in red clothes against the background of snow. Camouflage does not affect visibility in any way, adding even primitive +/- 10-15% to Stealth for wearing camouflage corresponding to the biome would be logical when increasing the AI vision. 4- Drones, a sore subject for many (including me)! Let's start in order, highlighting vulnerable zones on combat vehicles, Dear developers, are you serious ?! It would be understandable if vulnerable areas were highlighted when looking at the drone through an "improved (pumped-over system like a cross-com)" but we don't have it, so the glowing vulnerabilities look extremely stupid. Further, the vulnerabilities themselves are the central part? Why it is impossible to make surveillance devices as vulnerable zones (damage / destruction of which will lead to the fact that the drone will attack blindly in all directions or with less accuracy). Propellers (wheels, screws, etc.) damaged / destroyed which can deprive the drone of its ability to move by making it a relatively easy target, or reduce its mobility. In the end, the weapons (or ammunition), if damaged, can temporarily or completely deprive the drone of the opportunity to attack, after which, with functional propellers, it gets closer to the player and itself is destroyed ... Further, according to the drones themselves, it is clear that the "swarm" has artificial intelligence, and a perimeter is set in the patrol zones in which the drone attacks everything that moves. But what about these flying drones without operators? In trailers, such drones were shown in the form of a quadrocopter with an assault rifle controlled by an operator. Why they are not in the game, adding operators to the groups that accompany such drones will add logic, this unit should not go on the attack, but direct the drones from cover. When you kill him, the drone should lose control and either simply fall or be destroyed by itself. These drones are equipped with an automatic rifle, why do they have unlimited ammunition? Ammunition should be limited (maximum 1-2 hundred cartridges) after which the drone should be sent to the operator to replenish / reload the ammunition ... In my opinion, these are the main problems, the solution to which will significantly improve the game ... P.S. This is my subjective opinion ... Sorry for my english [link] [comments] |
