    We need full vest costimization

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 12:53 PM PDT

my idea is the vests and plate carriers are "base models" and when you select them it brings you to a "vest customization screen" you get to pick gear from all the vests in the game to make your own personolized realistic vest/ plate carrier. obviously it would not work on the unique wolves vest ie walker sylverback rosebud ect. but you would be able to select radios, knives, mag pouches actual kit, a chest rig holster. my aim is to have players have more freedom in customization and make something they are proud of. for example here. lets say i pick the cyre AVS plate carrier. i would then be prompted to pick 8 props. so i pick the basic mag pouches that were on the vest to begin with. i then select a strong arm knife to be put on the upper right side of the vest. then a holster to be put on the upper mid chest section. then a radio on the back of the vest, a few extra pouches and grenade holsters. it would be my own vest and would make me feel like a true ghost.

Feel like night vision modes should be more than a simple unlock on the skills screen should be tied to the goggles but once unlocked you can visually override them so you can have any NVG have any NV (or other) views you want.

I really like the immersive mode in Breakpoint.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 04:56 AM PDT

I know that the recent installment in the franchise got a lot of hate for having tiered loot and stupid shit like that. However I bought the game after the immersive mode came out. I don't really care a lot for the plot itself but I do like the missions, the world is really fun to explore. Drones can be annoying at times with the "Press H to focus" however just traversing the world , finding blueprints, one shot killing baddies with a sniper or a silenced pistol is fun. I am not sure what it is that makes me enjoy the game so much ( I usually get tired of ubi open worlds unless I find the story interesting) but I do and since this game gets a lot of hate I just wanted to write something positive about it.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 09:55 AM PDT

I remember nearly hating it when it came out, it felt arcadey and linear and didnt like it compared to GRAW 1&2 but now I see this subreddit and people really like it apparently, should I give it another go? I was younger when it came out maybe I should've been more patient, I remember quiting in a snowy mission or something

Does anyone else feel the reload and recoil debuffs on most foregrips has ruined these attachments for them in Breakpoint?

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 06:51 AM PDT

Like the title says, I rarely if ever use foregrips at this point, just because the debuffs they come with outweigh whatever buffs they're providing.

The reload debuff cancels out the gain from the Close and Personal perk, and the recoil debuffs muddle the otherwise predictable recoil of most weapons, making the improvement they provide pointless. 99% of the time, with possible exception of LMGs I'm finding that I'm better off just running no grips at all.

I really think we need a return to the Wildlands-style system where each attachment buffed the weapons in a different way or to a different degree without downsides.

Heck, I'd even be fine with making attachments completely cosmetic.

    The injury system

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:23 PM PDT

I like the injury system, imo I feel like it should be implemented in other games where your character is likely to be maimed or killed. It makes you think twice about going in guns blazing or alerting enemies to your presence, although I can see how this may be annoying to casual players, so maybe have an on/off toggle in the options. I was wondering why hasn't anyone thought of actually having a knock out feature yet, it's been a few times when airsofting I've had the wind knocked out of me and was unable to move. I'm sure that kind of stuff would happen on a battlefield as well. Or maybe I'm pushing it? I may be asking too much, but it would be a cool feature imo.

The damage received should be different depending where you get shot

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 07:37 AM PDT

For example, getting shot in the leg does very little damage but might cause injuries, and getting shot in the head is a one-shot kill or a critical injury

Whenever I go into buildings the lighting goes to complete shit and I can't see into any rooms even when I'm standing one inch away from the doorway. Does anyone know a way I can mess with the display settings in order to see better?
