    CARPAT when UBI?

Behemoth are useless in the game at the moment. Ubi make the tower they guard a control hub for all drones in the region so if you disable this tower all drone will be disabled in this specific region. People don't like drones anyway...

    Lack of communication between updates.

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 05:39 PM PDT

Thing that annoys me the most about this whole game is there's little communication between patches from the Devs. We hear from them a week before and then for a week after a title update. Then dead silence until the next title update. It's been like this since release.

Would be nice to hear what the next goals are or here's what we're working on. A tease of something at least. A lot of other game Devs will post hints or a image of something they're working on. Keeps the community interested.

What made first Ghost Recon so good that is long forgotten now

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 03:53 PM PDT

    It's a simple thing, I've replayed original 2001 GR's campaign recently.

Per mission on ELITE difficulty level, there are 30-35 enemy A.I. at max yet finishing one mission without loosing any of my A.I was not an easy task, I had to re load save many times.I got soo relaxed with GBP that when I went back into GR, two times it happened that my team and I were wiped out by a sudden single enemy A.I. underbarrel grenade. WOW, I forgot about spacing and to have fire teams covering each other from distance so that it does not happen (again) that one russian A.I. comes around the corner and kills my fire team with an ease.

Killing all enemy A.I. per mission would result with mission win without completing objectives, no enemy remaining. We are talking about 30-35 enemy A.I. max per mission, yet finishing a mission from 2001 game, never felt so rewarding. In Breakpoint I have several thousand AI killed on my record but It never felt rewarding killing A.I.In Breakpoint, A.I. achieves only annoyance on my end "Ugh, fine, I'll kill you and you and you and you so I can grab that intel".

Now going back to 2001 game (in 2020) even with limitation which game has due to old hardware that was around at that time. I was fully immersed into game and after finishing a mission I would be like" huuuuh that was intense" and after 2 missions in a row i would take a break to recover.

In GRB after doing 2 missions in GRB I would feel "I can't do it this, this is so damn boring, I have more fun at my work then in this game".

What I found out is that challenge which A.I. can offer without being "bullet sponge" at all, is far more rewarding than stacking masses of dumb AI bodies and division 2 sponges.

It's the A.I. , it's not about body count that makes you immersed into GR game but difficulty of A.I. that made it good.

That mission in swamps was really something. Due to me sniping, enemy A.I. found where we are and two, ONLY TWO enemy A.I. started suppressing us and we (me and my A.I.) could not move. Now I knew that those two AI are just a few pixes behind that hill. I can see bullet tracers coming from that place and flying very close above me. But no way I would risk to stand up and to fire a bullet or two. As I was thinking what would be the best way to move. My AI, decided to stand up and to fire and 2 seconds latter he got headshot and fell next to me. I was thinking "you *** why do you think I am lying down here like an idiot".Hold up, what just happened. It's not NOSTALGIA but game is actually freaking good. I was "there" and I was worried to make a move. In GRB I am playing it like it's GTA game.

After finishing a mission and seeing 30 enemy AI killed? "Huh, what, that many?!" Those 30 AIs per mission gave me far worse time, yet awesome experience.

Wildlands also has friendly AI but I never felt connection with them, probably due to respawn and no consequences. In GR, losing an A.I. in which you invested skill points was not at all "whatever effect", I was connected with GR Ghosts far more that with Wildlands ones. GRB does not have any A.I Ghosts but then again how game is designed they would never be a game changer. .

So my advice for next GR game is, don't focus on "hand holding" and dumb A.I or bullet sponge ones. You don't need to kill 100 per mission to feel awesome. But a killing a few in GR (NOT BULLET SPONGE ONES) difficult ones is far better and feels rewarding like you're Rambo (even though i spent most of time on my belly getting shot at and re loading a save due to being killed often).

Honestly speaking, why I pre-ordered Breakpoint? Because I liked what I had in Wildlands and was counting that next GR is only upgrade, at worst Wildlands v1.5. Oh boy how was I wrong and I fully regret my pre-order. It's not even on Wildlands standards let alone a proper Ghost Recon game

On the absolute hardest difficulty stealth is broken because of Drones. Attacking directly is broken because enemies simply rush you with shotguns and always know exactly where you are.

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 03:31 AM PDT

Not to mention drones just swarming you and flying side to side. It's artificial "difficulty" that isn't actually smart. I've been playing the Last of US story recently and it's so refreshing to play with more realistic enemy AI that actually searches for you, takes cover and has a sense of preservation.

The disparity in quality is so jarring. Breakpoint's AI is like a mobile game in comparison. How did we go from Splinter Cell and Future Solider AI to this?

And don't say "oPeN wOrLd aI iS hArDeR tO dEsIgN." That's honestly no excuse.

    Attacking a Base (priorities)

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 04:10 PM PDT

Interested in how others approach bases. What is your kill priority list? Something like:

    1. Snipers
    2. Radio Asshole
    3. Generator
    4. Drone Prick Etc.....

    Thanks!

Okay let’s cut the crap! Does the immersive mode make this a great game?

I know many people out there have avoided this game because of the bad reviews. Please provide some guidance on whether this is worth paying money for.

    Supply drops

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 04:21 PM PDT

They should implement supply drops. The only stipulations is that it would draw out the enemy when you request a supply drop, but you also need to mark your DZ.

I have really liked the immersion part, and if they don't add it in BP, it would be cool to see it in the future and add some realism to at least the ammo aspect and keep you engaged on your missions if you prefer not yo fast travel everywhere.

Other single player (non team) Shooter like Breakpoint?

    Posted: 11 Apr 2020 07:20 PM PDT

One of the things I like about Breakpoint is the lone-wolf aspect of the gameplay.

Most of the other military shooters I've looked at seem to be focused on teams.. COD, Rainbow Six, older GR games etc. have you playing as part of a AI team.

I realize many people like that style of play (and really want AI teammates in Breakpoint) but I enjoy going it alone.

Can anyone recommend other game series that are more lone-wolf oriented?

    Thanks!
