I went back to Wildlands to do some photo mode work, and this has got to be my favourite.

Am I the only one that wants to change pattern on the cool hero pants? I mean it's clearly possible in the game since when they captured the thumbnail there was some other / better color (especially for the jeans) so why limiting that?

Playing through Wildlands for the first time. Left the game on to wait for nightfall while I did other things around the house, looked up in time to see the sunset.

...I've been playing around with Voice Attack and Ghost Recon: Wildlands...

I wanted a way to feel like I was communicating with my squad and using the radio to call for support. So, using VoiceAttack I made a profile for GR:W and am sharing it with the community.

Tired of using that skill wheel? Simply say, "This is Nomad, Call for Fire, Over." and watch the magic happen. Link includes a reference sheet and download.

    Enjoy!

Edit (1/2): Going to add "Shitballs" later this evening when I get a chance.

Edit (2/2): "Shitballs" is now a Voice Command

Thank you very much for the immersive mode. But, can we have an option to disable the huge amount of mud on guns and gears? Thanks.

    Introducing recruitable squadmates

I thought it would be interesting to make a mockup of what it would be like if Ubisoft incorporated squadmates into the game and released them as DLC in a similar manner to operators in Rainbow Six: Siege. Here is the first sequence, "Greenstone Survivors."

    CWO Anna Martinez, SOAR Pilot

"If you can't think on your feet, you die. If you can't think in the air, your team dies too."

    Name: Anna Martinez

    Rank: Chief Warrant Officer Two

    Faction: United States

    Organization: 160th SOAR (A)

    Position: Army Aviator

    Birthplace: Laredo, Texas

    Date of Birth: 08/31/1994 (29)

Intelligent, perceptive, and uncannily resourceful, Anna Martinez would have been an exceptional lawyer had she not chosen Army life. Growing up in a single-parent household, her mother's job as an attorney meant Anna was largely self-raising. Later she realized that law school was more of a grab for parental attention than a serious passion and took the unusual step of joining the Army at 23. Quickly finding herself on a track towards aviation, she excelled in flight school with a natural feel for flying, and later was assigned to Task Force Brown, the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

Anna distinguished herself during a training mission gone awry when her MH-60 was brought down in severe weather on the border with Norway and Russia. The only uninjured crewmember, she risked her life to destroy documents and sensitive material before leading an arriving Spetsnaz unit away from her crew, allowing them to reach the border safely. Successfully escaping and evading for two weeks until a Norwegian FSK team extracted her, she made waves in the JSOC community, and earned the begrudging respect of the Bodark commander tasked with capturing her.

A perfect candidate for Ghost aviation support, Anna Martinez's chopper was brought down with the rest of the insertion forces during the ill-fated Operation: Greenstone. Once again grounded, she was able to escape encircling Sentinel and linked up with the only other survivor from her bird, heavy-weapons specialist SFC Paul Fitzpatrick. After another bout of improvisation, the duo later conducted a daring raid on the Arrow Testing Zone in an event the Wolves still refer to as "Black Sunday." Utilizing a captured Sentinel MH-6 Little Bird and a jury-rigged oil drum, Anna evaded heavy air defenses to dive-bomb the Wolves' flight deck with a precision napalm attack, returning on a second pass for Paul to rake the base with grenades and machine gun fire. By the time the smoke was clear, a platoon of Walker's finest men was dead, and six Azrael drones lay blazing in the hangar.

With the drone swarm preventing Anna from extracting the survivors, she knows her days are likely numbered, but in the meantime, she plans on putting her skills as a pilot to good use.

Paul Fitzpatrick, Ghost Heavy Weapons Specialist

"A little guitar there, painting here, hell I'm a qualified sushi chef. Oh and I love blowing shit up. Point is, you don't mix your hobbies."

    Name: Paul Fitzpatrick

    Rank: Sergeant First Class

    Faction: United States

    Organization: 5th SFG(Ghost Recon) (Active), 10th SFG(A) (Formerly)

    Position: Heavy weapons specialist

    Birthplace: Warren, Rhode Island.

    Date of Birth: 10/04/1988 (35)

Raised in a loving, if nontraditional east coast household, Paul was the only child of his common-union parents. Musicians by trade, he toured with them frequently across the country, developing both a sense of adventure and a laundry list of eccentric interests. Wanting to travel but short on cash, Paul joined the Army after two delinquent semesters of community college and found a stabilizing influence that had so far been absent from his life. Initially serving in the infantry, he gained a reputation for boisterousness and improvisation that helped see his unit through two deployments to Iraq. Returning stateside and still longing to travel, Paul tried out for special forces and passed selection, putting his varied skills and worldly knowledge to practical application.

Paul served with distinction as his unit deployed to Syria and was awarded the Silver Star for valor for his actions during an assault on a Daesh compound in ar-Raqqah. Aiding a platoon of Kurdish soldiers, his team became caught in the middle of a pitched three-way fight between rebel militia, Daesh fighters, and a Syrian army unit. Running low on ammunition, Paul attempted to use a bundle of signal flares to set off a derelict petrol tanker, an act so dangerous and stunning all three factions paused firing at him. Unable to get the tanker to light, he relieved a Daesh gunner of his PKM and used his tracer rounds to finish the job, blasting a gap in the melee large enough for his allies to exfiltrate.

After this deployment, he was invited to try out for Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group – Ghost Recon. Again passing selection, Paul continued on as a heavy weapons specialist in Nicaragua, Cuba, and the Korean peninsula, before being tasked for the doomed Operation: Greenstone. Wounded but still retaining his equipment after the attack, Paul managed to gain a superior position and hold off an array of Sentinel forces until a distraction by fellow survivor Anna Martinez allowed him to disengage. The squad of Wolves that captured his position was surprised to learn they were engaging one man, not an intact fireteam as they had believed.

Teaming up with Anna, he participated in the infamous "Black Sunday" raid on the Arrow Testing Zone, among others. Now healed up and ready to fight, Paul wonders if his desire to travel has come back to haunt him, but that won't stop him from doing what he does best: blasting.
