    The lack of communication regarding future content and the immersive experience overhaul is fucking ridiculous

    I'm typically not the reactionary type but good lord, we haven't received anything about the immersive experience overhaul due out by end of month. We don't know what it includes. We don't know how it'll work. Assuming we get the overhaul and it isn't extensively delayed, it's going to have problems, there will be things the overwhelming majority of the community hates and now we won't have the ability to express that before it's too late. Why weren't we involved in this process? Why wasn't a "how does the list of these following changes sound to you guys" published?

    The following is literally all we know about it.

    This is pathetic coming from the same publisher that is extremely communicative with their other games such as For Honor/Assassin's Creed Odyssey/Steep/Wildlands), what the hell happened?

    Ghost Recon: Breakpoint - Immersive Rework Concept

    While we all wait for the announcement I thought I'd get some of my ideas out there for what to expect while keeping my expectations relatively realistic. So, with that said here is my concept for an immersive rework.

    The complete removal of colored Loot tiers. Instead of variants when you collect a blueprint you unlock a permanent customizable version of that weapon and can change it into a desired variant using the reworked gunsmith (more on that later). You can dismantle any standard non-blueprint weapons to collect parts in order to upgrade your permanent weapons accuracy, durability, range and so on. However, you can only use parts from compatible weapons such as LMG parts on LMGs etc.

    Gunsmith reworked from the ground up. All standard variants of weapons are no longer individual weapons. These variants can be moddled by changing the stock, barrel, mag size, rail position, sights and so on. Any variant type can be achieved or even mix and matched. There would also be a lot more options on what attachments can be used on all weapons (I'm looking at you ACOG). Some exceptions for unique weapons such as foliage camo varients though these can still be fully customised.

    New and improved attachments with actual benefits. Bipods can now be manually toggled with the bottom d-pad allowing you to fix your weapon down to cover or the ground when prone and have a locked steady aim. It will be collapsed when you stand or pull away from cover. New attachments: Flashlight, Laser/Flasight combo (on/off toggles the function), shotgun underbarrel, taser underbarrel, EMP underbarrel launcher, dual mag option for faster first reload.

    New reload and ballistics mechanics. Damage and velocity is now based on the type of rounds you use with different types for each weapon based on their real life counterparts.

    Reload mechanics:

    Hold Square when mag isn't empty - Reload and conserve unused ammo

    Tap Square when mag isn't empty - Reload faster and discard unused ammo

    Side note - Weapon will fail to fire when empty and must be reloaded manually

    Weapon durability - I know this one is a divisive subject. Personally I'd have it so that a weapon can fire so many rounds before it receives a slight damage and velocity reduction. It can then fire so many more until it has the same effect but can occasionally jam. This would not be an overly intrusive mechanic and would take some time to take effect. Weapons can be cleaned at camp.

    The option for no mini map and just a compass

    Limited bandages and being able to dismantle unwanted gear into bandages

    Healing - Your health now only auto heals upto your current bar. You must use bandages to be able to fully heal. Bandages do not instantly heal you, they only allow you to regain the ability to fully heal over time.

    Bleeding is now also a mechanic. If you are injured and use a bandage this will allow you to heal over time as stated. However, after a certain amount of time your health will slowly begin to deplete again. You can reapply bandages to slow this process but you must rest at a camp and use stitches to stop it permanently.

    Eating and drinking is now required periodically in order to maintain max stamina. Not eating or drinking will cause you to have your stamina bar halved at maximum thirst or hunger.

    Improved AI that actually hunts you and searches for you.

    Having all gadgets available on the weapon wheel. Certain gadgets don't need to be on it at all to save space. Just allow us to cut fences if we have wire cutters in our inventory.

    New equipment and abilities: Smoke grenades and the ability to whistle or call to an enemy to lure them.

    Environment factors: Choice of aesthetic clothing now has an effect based on your environment. For example, shorts and t-shirt in snowy weather causes a 50% stamina reduction as does bulky heavy items in hot environments.

    Enemy AI actively seeks to use powerful vehicles such as APCs when they are nearby.

    Much faster melee takedowns and body moving including carrying teammates being at least twice as fast as attempting a revive.

    True darkness at nighttime with NVG being a requirement rather than a filter.

    Make all chest rigs blank and allow us to manually add pouches, mag holsters and bags onto them. The same for our battle belt.

    Only able to change your load out weapons at camp.

    Now for a far less likely wish:

    The ability to rappel from helicopters and down sheer surfaces

    It just seems like, as a person who uses camo for every change in environment and likes to role-play a lot as a cop or civilian, it's a pain in the ass to change everything when you go to a different place. Loving BP though, it has a lot of potential.

    What is the story with skills getting cut off from the screen?

    I feel like this should be a bigger issue but it's barely been commented about, it basically makes the game unplayable for somebody who doesn't know what the skills are, like new players. Is there any news on a fix, or even a workaround?

    What about enemy use gadget

    Why don't enemies like division use their grenade launcher, hand grenade(more often) and suppression fire by LMG gunner? If ghost uses any weapon, they should be able to use it too
