Player rage quitted the raid because he couldn’t glitch

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 04:15 PM PST

So I tried my hand at matchmaking for the raid and it was quite interesting. I got into a group with three other players that had Mics, they were attempting to glitch the first boss. We tried a handful of times and each time we all kept dying or the glitch didn't work. After about 10+ tries the highest level random who was trying to glitch disbands the group all because he couldn't glitch his way through the raid.

I really don't understand players, if you can't play legit then why play at all?

Wait so are there any AI teammates in breakpoint?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 12:01 PM PST

I'm doing these Jace skell missions and I keep wondering when my teammates will start showing up.

I'm a solo player. Played wildlands solo

Learned a new term today... jump point

I will say I do love the game but I’ve held off taking on Walker because the storyline has just felt underwhelming. I’d hoped taking on your biggest rival in the game would provide a bigger climax. It was somewhat satisfying but the words that come to mind is “missed opportunities” overall IMO.

Does anyone else find it weird breakpoint is cheaper than Wildlands on EGS?

Customisation idea: RAID modified BDUs and the option to let us roll our sleeves up until or above our elbows

Isnt it a bit of an odd choice theres no Ghost Points (Inapp Moneys) with Gold or Ultimate?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 11:23 AM PST

I feel like part of negative reviews by day1 buyers is they barely got anything for spending 40 more on the gold edition. I mean thats almost the vale of a full game, esp. around black friday

Not getting sidearms over 252 in raid

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 07:24 PM PST

I've done the raid every week it's been out and my gear score is currently 289. However, I have NEVER gotten a sidearm drop in the raid above 252. I honestly can't remember if I've gotten any sidearms as rewards from the bosses though. Have I just been unlucky so far in the boss drops, or do I have my very own personal Ubi glitch? Or is this more common and I've just never heard anything on it?

Proof the stfg grip is in Maria's shop, not a raid only reward.

Does Class choice in the RAID weight certain drops heavier from RAID Boss' ?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 06:03 PM PST

So i was playing through the raid last week and as a seasoned Raider at this point I was bemoaning duplicate drops from Baal at lower gear score than I was when we killed him. I was 299 but received a CTMMG and MPX tactical at 296 and gear at 296. Rightly so I'm somewhat perturbed by this.

Then the Dutch-man in the party chimes in with a fresh accusation, "I hear that certain drops depend on the class you beat the boss with will appear more frequently." (in dutch accented English)

"Fucking what?" As someone who has spent the majority of these raids 3 weeks as medic and 2 as assault this piques my interest, after trying to get him to explain where these claims were coming from he couldn't give me a source, only anecdotal experiential observations from his time playing with others. He has no real reason to make it up and he's Dutch and make great bacon and therefore are worthy of our trust.

But it got me thinking could this be something the Developers put in to make people play more often as the different classes.

    e.g

BAAL Drop rate for Koblin 0.2% for sharpshooter, predator, medic. Then Koblin 0.5% for assault class.

BAAL Drop rate for BOSG 0.2% for Assault,Sharpshooter,Medic. Then BOSG 0.5% for Predator class.

TLDR: Could Ubi have weighted the Unique RAID BOSS weapon drops toward certain classes? without telling people.

    Breakpoint regions vs Wildlands

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 05:28 PM PST

Hey all, I never got the chance to play Wildlands but from what I understand the different regions offered different challenges and difficulties(some might have better equipment and gameplay styles). This is contrast to Breakpoint where aside from different terrain and weather you can pretty much explore any region from the start and have the same experience gameplay wise.

I feel like this was a lost opportunity to encourage the player to explore different gameplay styles. For example one region could be drone heavy encouraging you to adopt heavier weapons, another could Jam drones requiring personal recon, while another region could have more patrols requiring a stealthy approach. This could have been supplemented by an improved intel system which would give you tips as to the beat way to take out a base, where enemy patrols lames were located etc.

While I enjoy the basic game mechanics it is a bit boring unless you intentionally create artificial challenges like snipe everyone in a base, or use only pistols. Feels like the game designer went with a lowest common denominator approach in an attempt to please everyone.
