I LOVE how disabling azrael and helicopter patrols is built into the gameplay instead of being a toggle ( op motherland.)
Ubi: We can't add more pouches to the Belt and Vest because of "Clipping" issues. Meanwhile, Vasily and his 3 Weapons.
Bodark did the work for me and decided to take five dudes out with their own mine.
DO NOT buy this game at discount for 10$ !

Title.

Being able to affect the state of the world through gameplay rather than a toggle is much more organic and adds a sense of purpose to what you're doing.

I was complaining about the Azrael drone presence and someone pointed out that there is a specific mission set to disable them through the entire campaign. And each region has helicopter patrols that you can disable.

That's really rad.

So at the moment GR Breakpoint is on free weekend and you can buy it for 9 or 10 dollars ( dont remeber how much).

BUT , in case you didn't know, you can claim 10$ coupon on epic games store(if you haven't already), and with it buy GOLD edition for 9.99 or ULTIMATE edition for 13.99, rather than vanilla for 8.99

Otherwise a very solid game for its price. I recommend

Gamebreaking bug found!

This is a public service announcement! As well as my third try to inform this community, because my first 2 posts didn't get noticed as it seems. I want to safe as many of you guys from having to deal with the same crap as I have to at the moment.

If OP Motherland is on your To-Do list, then DO NOT FLY TO MOA ISLAND!

If you fly to Moa after activating conquest mode and the drones get you, your game will crash instead of respawning and your save file CANNOT BE LOADED again.

I lost my 200h main savegame this way and also sacrificed another low level save to verify this bug. In story mode, nothing happens, you respawn as usual. So it must be a problem with OP Motherland itself.

I have not verified if this bug happens in every out of bounds drone kill zone, or only near Moa Island, but I have lost enough savefiles to try that. Just be aware of that guys, stay away from this gamebreaking bug.

Motherland has given me whiplash

I'm about half-way through and this is just the best. I liked Deep State (except for the ridiculous Boss), and Red Patriot was a nice big expansion. Amber Sky was okay, and then it looked like we were headed for the end. The Teammate expansion was meh, just some busy work, and the less said about Tomb Raider the better.

I thought Motherland would be a nice 2 or 3 mission send off like Operation Oracle and then after the catastrophic reveal of the-battle-royal-that-will-not-be-spoken-of, GR would be quietly taken behind the shed and put out of it's misery.

But this - this is like a whole new game expansion. Some of the missions are a little samey, but the situations are always changing. I don't know how long the devs worked on this - I'm just amazed, shocked, gob-smacked. It is so much more than I hoped for or expected, and I am enjoying exploring the island once again, dodging patrols, destabilizing the enemy, taking down bases. Even the drone presence doesn't bother me as much, maybe because they are used more sparingly.

Sure there are still some technical details and bugs, and I hope that the dev team will address them and not continue to wait 3 or more months between bug fixes. I hope one day we will be able to drag bodies and choose the triggers and attachments on all our guns. But honestly I'm having too much fun to complain too much.

My hope now is that this is not the end of BreakPoint. Maybe it actually can be a No Man's Sky and revive this game. Motherland shows that they have it in them and that someone over there is listening to the fans. There are still two islands out there waiting for attention.

Personally I am happy so far, future soldier gear is awesome and I like the mission structure, but I must admit that I am a bit dissapointed about the lack of cutscenes, specially when starting the dlc and ending it, I wish they would had put more work into this because it gives a poor impression sometimes
