    Let's theorize they'll release Moa Island with similar amount of content as Motherland has, but they charged $30 for it, would you pay for it or not? I must say after Motherland I probably would.

    Build on what you've done well

    The problem with Breakpoint is that it's clear it's design philosophy originally was to cater to as many casual open world/shooter/looter players as possible. Try and sell based on being accessible and then focus in on the more niche, hardcore crowd later.

    And guess what? It sold like shit anyway because it looked generic as hell. By trying to please everyone, they essentially failed everyone instead. It offered nothing new or interesting for casual players and it was too casual for hardcore fans of the series.

    Only now, after years of refining and implementing the more classic aspects of the franchise, has reception to the game slowly began to turn around.

    So, therein lies the lesson:

    Not all games have to be for everyone.

    Create and market your game towards the crowd that it's truly intended for and they will buy and invest in it long term.

    It's better to have a slightly smaller base that are guaranteed to love it and stick around than to try and appeal to everyone and make the game a shallow experience.

    Start with that and then refine it even further, building upon a successful launch rather than fixing a terrible one.

    The game being loved by hardcore fans will spread out to the wider gaming community, leading to more people wanting to try it out anyway. Walk before you try to run.

    I'm not trying to gatekeep. I'm just saying that they need to make Ghost Recon for Ghost Recon fans and then other people will become Ghost Recon fans by discovering what the title stands for. People are tired of shooter-lite, shallow games. They see right through it.

    Cater to your audience.

    There seems to be very little reference to them whenever someone gives you orders. It's especially noticeable in episodes 2 and 3 (since they weren't there in Ep.1), even OP Motherland. No-one ever includes them. It's just "Nomad go here" and "Nomad do that". Even the team itself is extraordinarily silent about what they're doing, where they are or anything, aside from the minor "great shot, Nomad" voice lines.

    They're a great help in combat, sometimes, but I just feel like they're ignored whenever someone talks to Nomad after the team were introduced.
