Adding my own flair to Breakpoint gameplay. Posted: 22 Feb 2021 06:58 AM PST So while we're waiting on any news for Year 2 content, I thought I would create a post detailing how I keep this game fresh and immersive. I imagine a lot of you already follow a few of these, like no HUD and such but I thought I'd share a few of my self imposed rules that keep this game fun and immersive. HUD/Tactical Parameters:
Self Imposed Rules:
[Edit - Forgot a rule] My main objective of these rules is to create as much immersion as possible will adding a little more challenge to the world. Here's to wishful thinking that Year 2 adds more control over world parameters so that we can limit the maximum amount of ammo/items we can carry and increase the need to use the water canteen. Anyway, hopefully this may help some of you with some fresh ideas on how to keep having fun with this game. And please do share any ideas/rules you yourself follow that may help myself and others have fun. Good hunting Ghosts. [link] [comments]
An idea on (you guessed it) ubi making this game somewhat realistic Posted: 22 Feb 2021 03:24 PM PST I know ubi gets absolutely slammed every day for how inaccurate breakpoint is, or the amount of missing content that makes no sense as to why it's not there, but I want to give an idea that could really change the landscape of how outfits are put together. Ok, so what if different types of clothing had different benefits or negatives (e.g. ammo capacity, mobility damage in certain areas, reload speeds etc etc). As someone who has unlocked nearly all cosmetic items and clothing, these changes could make the game more fun, more realistic, and would add some spice to picking an outfit, as you would have to be mindful of the effects of each item. So here are some examples to get the point across: Bog standard plate carrier: Would give decreased damage to the chest area (for bonus points, make the plate carrier more resistant to lower caliber rounds) and make you a bit slower. This plate carrier also have pockets for 4 mags (i think!) so would give 4 extra mags to the player, and four reloads would be significantly quicker than others. I'm aware this isn't balanced at all but hey, it's just a concept. Chest rig/ field vest: does nothing to mobility (you can't use a vest to run faster, dumbass) but gives more mags and grenades along with a speedier reload than normal. This would allow the base amount of damage to the chest region however. Helmet: pretty simple here, bit of damage reduction to the head, bit of a mobility loss. Backpack: The bigger the backpack, the more stuff you can carry but the slower you move (crazy I know 🤯🤯) Boots: certain boots move slower than standard boots on roads/ concrete, BUT these boots move faster than standard in mud/snow/light water, perfect for assaulting an outpost in said conditions. Camos: bit of an off topic one here, but if you use a white Camo on your whole body in a snowy region and are near or lying in snow, it is harder to be detected. This would also mean using the wrong Camo would get you spotted faster than using base colours of clothing. That's all I could think of here, but I'm sure there are more. [link] [comments]

Reminder - Amber Sky Broke PvP Posted: 22 Feb 2021 07:01 PM PST Takes 10-30 minutes to get in to a match. If you do get in it will not continue matchmaking post game. Invisible players and randomly spawning in out of bounds. I have tried disabling AI team mates and changing my server region with no success. [link] [comments]

QOL Request for Season Pass and Class Challenge rewards LET US KEEP THEM UNLOCKED PERMENANTLY! Posted: 22 Feb 2021 10:21 AM PST I dont think im the only one who starts a new save and is annoyed i have to invest hours to get certain armor pieces from missions that are already payed for DLC. Just discourages replayability imo and making new saves. We need more stuff to be permanently account unlocked after you've already unlocked it once: My conservative proposal: - Challenge armor pieces (no one wants to grind for this on every different save. I'm sorry no one). - DLC episode reward armor once you've unlocked it once u dont need to replay it again on a new save - faction rewards if they ever get brought back (could let them do actual limited time stuff if we can unlock it permanently) [link] [comments]
Ghost Recon 2 and Summit Strike DLC Posted: 22 Feb 2021 08:21 AM PST Was looking to play these games today and I found out that they had some dlc for them back in the day on the Xbox original that you can't get anymore as far as I know. Does anyone know what they were and what they contained? Thanks in advance. Edit: I found a website that shows that there was some dlc for Ghost Recon: Island Thunder as well as for the Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six games also. For anyone wondering what the website is, it's https://digiex.net/threads/xbox-offline-xbox-live-downloadable-content-dlc-installers.675/ [link] [comments]
