Posted: 23 Feb 2021 01:42 PM PST Hi All! I've posted this in longer formats before, but I thought I would post it again. It's a really fun and immersive way to use the in game systems to wring a little more immersion out of your carrying capacity and clothing management in breakpoint. Limited carrying capacity: To simulate having a limited carrying capacity, your item wheel serves as your FULL inventory while in the field. What this means is that you cannot access your full inventory and change things in and out of the item wheel unless you are at the bivouac. (No reaching into your magic bag to equip a huge rocket launcher and a stack of c4 while you're running around in the open world :-) ) This will encourage you to make choices about what you are carrying while exploring, and what types of gear you need for various missions. You are also not allowed to modify any of your clothing or weapons unless at the bivouac. Carrying a change of clothes: To simulate having an extra change of clothes while in the field, you are only allowed to carry two sets of clothes with you while you travel: The one you are wearing, and One additional visual preset. This includes things like goggles, headsets etc. You may ONLY change what is in these presets while you're at the bivouac. For example, you may want to bring a Boonie hat and a raincoat as your second set of cloths in case of rain. Or a set of warm clothes for cold climates. Or you may have a mission coming up that requires night vision and stealth clothes. Note that you may mix and match items between these two visual presets while you're in the field at any time. Also note that you may take your hat, your glasses or your headset off and on while in the field. For example if you have a snow hat on, and you wander into a warmer climate, you may take the snow hat off. You may also equip the tank top at any time, as it is presumed to be underneath your regular clothes. This is useful if you are in hot climates and are wearing heavy clothes. If you are wearing the baseball hat, you may "turn it backwards" by equipping the backwards baseball hat. Again, you may mix and match items from your two visual presets freely in the field, but you may not change what is in those presets unless at the bivouac. A note about swimming: Nomad needs to keep his cloths and equipment as dry as possible when swimming. Thus before swimming across bodies of water you should " Pack your gear in your backpack" byequipping the tank top and removing your glasses, your hat, your headset etc. Once you're across the body of water, you should re-equip your dry clothes ASAP in order to not get cold. For swimming across icy water in cold regions, you need to equip the wetsuit to reduce the danger of hypothermia. If you do not have the wetsuit packed in your visual preset, you need to find a nearby bivouac and equip it. It is critical that when you are done swimming in the cold that you find shelter or a bivouac immediately and re-equip your warm clothes. For an extra challenge, in order to reduce weight when swimming, drop both of your primary weapons on the ground before you swim. Re-acquire them at the nearest bivouac or pick up a gun off the enemy afterwards. Re-equip your favorite primaries at the bivouac. This isn't the most logical thing, as you can usually bring guns in the water, but it makes for a great challenge and shakes up the gameplay loop... you will feel very vulnerable being stripped down to just your pistol when you're done swimming. Can we unlock all ops in wildlands pvp? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 06:36 PM PST At least for inhouses? We can't even queue for games, we've tried several times - but we can't do inhouses either, because half the friends don't have any characters. This is silly, no one plays the game on pc - why are they still held hostage. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:15 PM PST I'm old and new to gaming actually bought it for my son but have been playing Ghost Recon and in breakpoint can anyone tell me how to use the Sync Shot Define that's in the wheel because whenever I select it and hit L1 it does nothing. Kind of the same thing with sync shot. Every time I use that it tells me it's activated but then when I fire I still only kill one person. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
