    Ghosts,

    There is an emergency on Auroa. Reports have come in of gas clouds appearing across the island, and it is your mission to investigate. But don't worry, you won't be going in alone. Beginning on January 21, you will join forces with Ash, Finka, and Thatcher of Rainbow Six and take on this growing threat together.

    MAIN MISSION BRIEFING

    After contacting Lesion, Nomad learns that Sentinel is producing a toxic gas called Amber Ruin and is planning to sell it overseas. As the gas is already spreading across the island, it is up to you to put a stop to this and prevent the nerve gas from leaving the island. In addition, you've been tasked with helping Rainbow find a cure for the affected populace. You will need to use special CBRN gear, as well as breach and clear tactics, in order to infiltrate these facilities.

    • Earn up to 11 new exclusive items over the course of the event, including uniforms.

    Pack your bags for Auroa, because Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Breakpoint will be free to play from January 21–25 to celebrate the release of the live event, Amber Sky, and TU 3.10.

    If you don't own the game, mark your calendars for the free weekend. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. An Xbox Live Gold Membership is required for Xbox One consoles and Xbox Series X|S. A Stadia Pro subscription is required for Stadia users.

    Explore the beauty of Auroa while traversing the island, and see the multitude of changes that have been implemented since the last free weekend in July. We're excited for players to see the:

    • GHOST EXPERIENCE UPDATE - The update includes the addition of the Darkest Night setting, improvements to the stealth playstyle, bullet lure, cooking grenades, quicker inventory management, and more.

    • PATHFINDER CLASS - This class utilizes their abilities and tools to discover new approaches to plan and execute their missions. Their special Armaros Interface ability allows players to call a rogue Azrael Drone, which can detect enemies and mark them for allies, distract patrols to control a stealth approach, flash or stun enemies, and deploy a tactical strike.

    Pre-loads start on January 19 for PC users. For those playing on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation®5, and PlayStation®4, players can download the game as a trial before the free weekend starts to take advantage of the free full-length play time.     Moa island or Auroa? (Upcoming update discussion)

    So in the details about the upcoming Update and content for Breakpoint when they were describing the location of where the events would take place they just call it the 'island' Surely if it was Auroa they would call it that right? As they have done in the past for previous updates although the map they showed in the trailer did seem to look like Auroa with the tall mountain peaks and etc standing out

    Let me know what you think, I'm getting pretty sick and tired of seeing the same old stuff on both Golem island and Auroa

    Timeline Question

    Trying to put together a rough chronology/timeline for recent entries.

    Does this look/feel right to you folks? I put year it takes place in paranthesis. I don't mean for this to be comprehsnive, just for the stuff I own/read.

    Ghost Recon Wildlands (2019)

    Ghost Recon Future Soldier (2024)

    Ghost Recon Breakpoint (2024/2025) - this is where I get confused. I've seen conflicting guidelines as to when Breakpoint takes place.

    As a quick question - when does the Choke Point novel occur? After/before Future Soldier?

    Wildlands: Fix FPS Drops and Stuttering [2021]

    Fix FPS Drops and Stuttering in Ghost Recon Wildlands:

    • Launch Nvidia Control Panel
    • Go to Manage 3D settings
    • Go to Program Settings tab
    • Click Add and add "GRW.exe"
    • Set Triple Buffering to On [Note: If you notice input lag, then turn it back Off]
    • Set Low Latency Mode to Off
    • Set Vertical sync to Use 3D Application settings
    • Other settings on that tab should either be default (which is recommended) or set to higher performance instead of quality.
    • Locking FPS with Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS) improves frametime and stability on this game. Limit FPS to the average FPS you get using RTSS. For example, if FPS ranges between 52-72FPS, then limit FPS to 60 in RTSS.
    • Go to game's video settings
    • Make sure you're running Fullscreen and NOT windowed
    • Set VSYNC to Adaptive. This improves FPS and stuttering on this game
    • Go to game's graphics settings and set Turf Effects, Long Range Shadows, HIgh Quality DOF, Bloom and Lens Flare to OFF. Game runs and looks better with these turned OFF
    • Ambient Occlusion, Shadow Quality and Draw Distance can be lowered without noticeable difference in graphics and doing so can improve FPS and stability
    • Restart the game and play

    Does Red Patriot continue or conclude the main story line?

    I don't have Uplay+ right now so wasn't sure if it's worth the $15 to resubscribe. When I played last summer there was Operation Greenstone which continued the main story as well as the Sam Fisher one, which kind of tied in to it I guess but was still fun. Either way the story felt incomplete to me.

    Can anyone give me a Good Tipp on how to do "Quickly Kill 6 enemies with C4 in Golem Island's Prototype Workshop" I know I'm stupid but can Anyone give a Good advise how do it? Trying to Rank my Field Medic.
