- I know this has probably been asked for a couple hundred times but when are we gonna get this version of Nomad? The one from the gameplay trailers, look I'd understand not getting this if we had only seen this model in the cgi trailers but we saw it in actual gameplay so we know that it exists.

Posted: 16 Jan 2021 05:17 AM PST Specifically for the dev team. I think you guys deserve one. This might get lost under a wave of threads but I still want this to be known to anyone who sees this. This also might get messy as I like to make LONG paragraphs so sorry in advance. So for starters, I haven't played Breakpoint in a couple months but I left the game with a good impression and how I feel about the game overall hasn't changed that much since I bought it early last year. Nonetheless while things still annoy me, I feel like I can finally recommend it some of my friends who were keen to never pick it up after the initial release. Anyway, I just want to say this, after the whole CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077 Fiasco, it made me as a gamer, see things differently on the company side of things. Because let's be honest, most gamers don't know nor don't care what happens behind the scenes. We just expect a polished and complete game. Obviously nowadays that's not the case anymore and I always ask myself why not? Well I didn't realize the level of BS upper management throws at you guys and while I think Ubisoft handles management better than other publishers, they're are far from the best from a outsider looking in. My time with Breakpoint was a frustrating mess and I always wondered why there was a significant drop in quality compared to Wildlands the first couple months I played the game. I'm pretty sure lots of you on the dev team had the passion of developing this game but was pressured by upper management and investors to release the game in its poor state. In my opinion, I think releasing the game the way it was tarnished the reputation of Ubisoft for good. Both Watch Dogs Legion and Valhalla while good looking games, brings nothing new and I told myself I will never buy another Ubisoft game after Legion. I'll buy older titles but that's it. Sorry again, this is getting long. Time to actually apologize lol. So instead of leaving this game to die, you all on the dev team continue to support the game after everything that has happened. You guys could of moved on to a different project but you guys stook around for the ghost recon community anyway. People might disagree with me and you're all just doing what your told but I genuinely think you guys care. Sure I would love to see some community requested features more prevalent in the game but I'm ok with what you guys offer now and honestly that's better than nothing. So with all that said thank you and I apologize for ever doubting you guys. You guys work hard for what you do and I hope management or whoever doesn't pressure you to release another broken game as bad as Breakpoint was initially. [link] [comments]

One Quibble With Breakpoint - Sidearms Posted: 16 Jan 2021 06:20 PM PST I'm not going to rant about how Wildlands is better (both have their merits), and this is more of a nitpick than anything. Why does it take so long to switch to your handgun? Maybe I've been spoiled by so many hours of Battlefield (BC2, 3, 4, Hardline) and Titanfall, but I find it incredibly irksome that it takes virtually the same amount of time to take out your pistol as it does any other main weapon (or reload, depending on the weapon). I've noticed some idle animations show your main gun go into the sling position in front. Rather than have the character put their rifle/shotgun/whatever into the stowed position on their back, I wish they'd drop it to hang in front of themselves so you can whip out your "Oh, shit.." gun when you run out of ammo. I love all the love this game has gotten from the devs, and appreciate the continued support, this is just one little thing I wish I could see change and haven't seen any one else mention it whenever I skim through here. P.S. Also miss the hell out of extended mags on pistols. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Jan 2021 11:26 AM PST Okay Field Medic 17 is fucking Pain. Like how the tf am I to do "Kill enemies with a mine, a Grenade and C4 less then 10 seconds." I won't even be surprised at 18 and 20 I managed to get my Pathfinder 20 but Field medic is a next gen shit. [link] [comments]

Ghost recon survival: Realistic crafting, recon, and radio communications update Posted: 16 Jan 2021 02:13 PM PST Hey all- Playing with some new additions to my "Ghost Recon Survival" role playing rule set. This rule set was designed to add more depth and survival immersion to the game using in game systems whenever possible. (for the full rule set do a search in this sub for "ghost recon survival". I wish I knew how to post a link with the Apollo Reddit app) The goal of these new additions was to give more gameplay meaning to the various common structures and objects found in the open world, and make reconnaissance more quantified. A quick note: "taking photos" and "hacking/uploading" using the in-game chat feature are mentioned throughout these rules. They simply refer to using the ps4's built in screenshot system to simulate "taking photos". Same for "hacking"...this means using the the games in-game chat feature to simulate typing commands on a keyboard (press and hold start to bring up the in game chat. Here you can enter text with a keyboard Interface) Anyway, on to the new rule additions: ———- IMMERSIVE CRAFTING: For a more immersive and dynamic crafting experience, The player is not allowed to randomly craft things in the field. The player may only craft items at certain locations. Different locations allow different items to be crafted: Bivouac: Bivouacs are for crafting rations (No crafting of gear or health items allowed, see below "workbenches" and "medical tables") Workbenches: Work benches are for crafting equipment and tech. These look like repair tables with modern tools, soldering irons or machine presses on them. This is where you can craft grenades, C4, intel grenades, etc. work benches can be found behind biometric doors, in sentinal facilities, and skell technology locations. There is also a repair area in Erwon that may be used (to the right of holt's area, up the path and then hang a left) Medical stations: Medical stations are for crafting health packs and syringes. These look like clean hospital tables with bandages and medical tools on them. Medical tables can be found at skell Technology locations, civilian outposts, and sentinal facilities. These various crafting locations can found in all kinds of different places in the world. Keep an eye out and Explore to find the proper crafting location for your needs. —- IMMERSIVE RECON: For a more immersive and realistic recon experience, The player must complete a full recon phase of each mission/base and upload the info from a nearby Comms device before executing the mission. Before collecting recon, the player should change into low profile civilian adjacent clothes and a single low profile weapon. (Do not get spotted and avoid killing as much as possible during recon. Knockouts are encouraged if you are compromised) Using the binoculars And the Pathfinder drone, the player must take CLEAR, READABLE photos of: -top down areal view of entire enemy base via the pathfinder drone. The image should show The full enemy count (highlighted with red squares). -mission objective(s) -all snipers and sniper nests -proposed entrance and exit points -Any additional points of interest To take a photo on ps4, look through your binoculars or pathfinder drone at your target and press the share button, then triangle, to capture a screenshot. Quickly Press circle to return to the game. Be sure that all your photos are from a close enough distance as possible for clarity. Once all recon Photography is collected, the Player must upload the photos and recon at any satellite dish or antenna array in the wild using the in-game chat feature. Stand in front of the console, activate the chat window, and enter the sequence: "Secure_Comms_intel_Upload.exe". (Then hit enter) Then return to a nearby bivouac. There the player may study all of the recon photography using the PS4's screenshot gallery. With recon complete, it is time to execute the mission. Suit up at a nearby bivouac and equip the proper gear and clothing based on your recon. Good luck Ghost. —- IMMERSIVE RADIO AND MISSION COMMUNICATIONS In order to access the missions screen to retrieve new missions, change missions or to communicate to command that a mission is complete, the player must radio base first by finding a communications device in the open world. These are in the form of CB radios, satellite dishes, microwave drum antennas, and 5G antenna arrays. A quick verbal description of what these devices look like ( I will make a version with in game screenshots at some point for easier description): -CB Radios look like small table top dual-deck CB radio devices with a handheld mic and a curly chord going to the deck. There is an orange horizontal light panel on the top deck. They are very common in the open world and sentinel facilities (will post pictures soon) -Satellite dishes look like, well, satellite dishes. The big ones that you usually find in sentinel locations and rooftops. -5G antennae's look like multi pronged vertical antenna arrays. They come in grey and black. microwave antennae's have big circular "drums" on them. Both of these antennae types look fairly similar to their real world counterparts. Do a google search for additional reference) To use a comms device to access the missions screen from a CB radio, simply stand in front of it and access the missions screen. Antenna arrays, microwave antennas, and satellite dishes will need to be hacked in order to use them (stand at the base of the device and use the in game chat feature (press and hold the start button on ps4) then type: "Secure_Channel_Missions.exe". (Then hit enter to send the message) You man now exit the chat window and access the missions screen. (please note that if you receive a notification in the field for a new mission via the mission pop-up, you can only "accept it" by locating a comms device and hacking it first) END [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 11:39 AM PST hi guys, i'm new to this subreddit but i'm really feel like attached with this game. And allow me to express my concern about offline mode. I heard about the offline mode, yes. I knew not everybody enjoy this game with a connection problem and i have that too. and i heard about the offline mode and the serious issue regarding that, so i want to give some feedback and something i got in mind.
and if there's a chance i'll make the flowchart to imagine the process so we can imagine the situation of the game's condition. and i will understand the developer's desicion. it might took sometime yes but i believe one day the solution for the offline mode can come up in a good state. i've always wanted to share my thoughts about the game life cycle. thank you for your time [link] [comments]
