- The only game that makes my cat do this is Wildlands
- I really like the way AFO Neptune looked in medal of honor. It was a great story and I wish we could see a remaster. As far as Breakpoint this is a kit I wish we could duplicate. We truly need true fleece or soft shell like the one in wildlands. That would look awesome in Breakpoint.
- No HUD, Extreme difficulty - Actual Tom Clancy vibes, good job Breakpoint.

- Well, the laser bug is back. It keeps thinking its still mounted to the side rail lol. Geeze how is that bugs come back?

- This game made my xbox crash again. Not the game but my xbox. It wouldn't even respond to resets, I had to unplug the power, clear the cache then power it up? WTF?

- Kudos to the devs for actually listening to the community in regards to Episode 3, Red Patriot.

Self preservation in the enemy AI would massively overhaul the atmosphere and feel of this game Posted: 24 Sep 2020 12:49 PM PDT It's the biggest problem with this franchise since Wildlands and the open world formula. The human AI just feel robotic. They mindlessly rush you creating an artificial feeling of difficulty. There's no firefighting, no sense that these are actually trained enemy soldiers. As soon as you are spotted, they go into instant kill mode. They feel almost like terminators. What should happen is that an enemies number one priority is not to die. I've literally had situations on the hardest difficulty where enemies just walk into choke points in a line, watching their friends die and still waking right through a corridor into my fire. When there is a two man patrol and you kill one guy, the other guy shouldn't just stand there and shoot at you. He should bolt for the nearest cover as soon as he sees his buddy drop. That's job one. Once he's no longer in the firing line the next step is to assess. What is the best way to deal with this problem? Is the player out in the open? Are they behind cover? Flush out with a grenade. Am I outnumbered? Focus on getting reinforcements. Once the best tactic has been decided, the AI should go to step 3: Engage with the best tactic based on these variables. This would make such a profound difference to the gameplay loop. It would shift the entire paradigm of the game from shooting mindless human drones to fearing enemies that actually want to survive and stop you. I'm not a programmer. I don't know if such a change is possible. But currently I veiw the AI thought pattern as:

Posted: 24 Sep 2020 05:48 PM PDT Many people prior to Episode 2 and 3 were unhappy with all of the robots and drone fighting happening early on in the game's development, especially with the raid, saying that it isn't true ghost recon type stuff. People have commented and suggested that we need good story plots, hoatage rescues, base infiltrations, searches, etc.. and they delivered that in Episode 3. Very pleased with how it is turning out so far. Build upon these story lines and keep going in this direction. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 24 Sep 2020 11:05 AM PDT It's not really a big deal but wished Ubisoft had made it so that the event missions are still available in the game even if the events are over. Right now you have to go to the intel screen and "replay" them even if you just bought the game, which is dumb. In Wildlands, all the Special Operation missions and the audio triggers were available in the game for new players even though the events were over and you didn't have to go to the map screen to replay them. I personally didn't realize that Schulz and Ito had actual faction story missions because they never came up when talking to them until I viewed their intel pages. [link] [comments] | ||
