    [UPDATE] Rebel Presence

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 09:03 AM PDT

Thank you for your participation in Live Event 2: Resistance! As of today's maintenance, the event is completed, which means that you will no longer be able to receive the rewards from the Live Event aside from the Strike Designator. However, you can still play the missions any time you'd like.

We've been thrilled to see the positive feedback from our community around the rebel presence in the world. Based on this feedback, our team has decided to keep the toggle present in the game through the weekend so you can have a few more days with the Rebels in Auroa!

We know that it has been a popular request to keep them in the game permanently, however, we need some more time to test their interaction with upcoming content to ensure the experience is as smooth as possible. With this in mind, we are working on an update for a future TU that will allow players to enable the Rebels from the very start of the game without having to play the missions. We'll give you more info closer to the release date.

We will have another maintenance on Monday, August 10 @ 9 AM UTC that will deactivate the toggle.

    Wolves hunted level

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 02:58 PM PDT

Just like in Wildlands if you attacked Unidad and didn't back off more come for you with an increasing wanted level. Allow the same concept to be with the Wolves, but Sentinel can also call them in with their radio operators. The level of difficulty could be their presence in sector of the world to increased drone presence, ambushes and roadblocks like shown in the initial trailers.

I like having the rebels in the game, it adds a little variety, but as someone who plays almost 100% stealth, they have a way of showing up at the worst possible time.

Remember when in wildlands we had tons of random dialogues with AI teammates? This is one of my favorite

    BREACH !

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 03:09 PM PDT

So I'm playing wildlands right now , and I've been doing a few of the network station breach and clear missions and I just thought to myself "What a great idea for breakpoint" Think about it , 4 guys in a room (sentinel or wolves) surrounding , EG: a hostage , supplies , new gear. Your character places a c4 or a breach charge on a wall or door and clears the room.

Tell me your opinions on this

Can we all agree that lighting needs to be fixed? Someone from Ubisoft made a comment about this but nothing has been done.

This is the comment from a post 9 months ago.

You are literally unable to see indoors when you're outside. It's like the sunlight stops at the door. The moon is too bright. Sometimes when it's raining the shadows are too dark.

Wildlands - If I was King for a Day [Fixing the Endgame!]

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 07:29 PM PDT

    This is a vent post.

The most disappointing aspect of Wildlands is the lack of an end game.

Random Convoys with resources that I don't need? Why?

Gamey, mundane, lame, and boring Daily Challenges? Not fun.

If I was king for a day I would use a system similar to The Divisions 'Contracts'. Rather, randomly generated missions that would serve as the Daily Challenge.

    These missions would:

    1. Utilize random areas of the large, beautiful open world that we were given with Wildlands.

    2. Would be 100% tactical in nature, and fitting for the Ghost Recon team. These would be missions that had players locating & gathering information/intelligence, capturing or killing High Value Targets, Raiding enemy buildings/facilities, destroying weapons or drug caches, clearing areas of Santa Blanca or Rebel fighters.

Ideas and Questions about a more in depth survival mode

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 12:26 AM PDT

So I was thinking about where Ubi could go with the survival elements and not sure if it could be incorporated for Breakpoint or whether this would need to be for the next game, but here goes.

I think having more focus on survival in Breakpoint would be an improvement, similar to RDR2, where not maintaining different needs would apply debuffs to your character. You would actually need to eat, drink and sleep to keep your Ghost at 100%.

Hunger would debuff your health regen. Thirst would debuff stamina regen. Fatigue/tiredness would debuff xp gain & accuracy.

To go along with this the bivouac system would need changing. I would remove all bivouacs and instead place one, or two, rebel outposts in each area. These would be the designated safe zones and where you could eat, drink, sleep and shop for items or get vehicles.

You could then also introduce a camping system, so you could make your camp almost anywhere on the map, but picking your spots would have benefits. For example if you decide to camp in a patrol area, there's a higher chance you will be captured while sleeping. You would wake in a heavily defended base with less resources and have to break out with no weapons, and free your ai teammates before they can join you again.

Hot/cold areas could also be used for survival, I know most of us use the loadout slots to have hot and cold outfits, these could now have a use. With this if you were in cold areas with just a tank top and shorts on as you could at the moment, your hunger, thirst, fatigue levels will drop much faster and when they are depleted your health would then drop also until you freeze and die. Thoughts on this were clothes would have a warmth value assigned, for cold areas you would need to have a certain warmth score to not suffer the debuffs. Perks could lower the warmth score, 'warm blooded' off the top of my head. On the opposite of this if you were to go into warm swampy areas in too high a warmth score your thirst and fatigue levels with drop faster to simulate heat exhaustion. So that you can't just change an outfit mid hike, you would only be able to edit outfit loadouts in a camp, and only have access to 2 loadouts at a time. You can switch which loadouts you want active at any camp.

Interested to know your guys thoughts on this. I know another post has detailed survival elements such as weapon maintenance which I also think is a great idea.
