    I'm blown away by Wildlands.

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 05:53 PM PDT

I put about 300 hours into Breakpoint and decided to give Wildlands a try for the first time, and I'm in shock of how great it is. The atmosphere feels realistic, the region feels real and alive.. and the story seems so well put together that it feels like I have a realistic purpose in Bolivia.

I'm blown away and I love it. Wildlands is the shit.

    Howdy, I have a question

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 08:39 PM PDT

I couldn't find an answer online. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

With games like RDR2 and GTA5, you have a story world and a separate online world, and in the online world, you share the map with 20 or so people.

Is it the same way with Breakpoint, or would you basically just get 3 or 4 people and open a session? I could imagine that sharing a world with 20 people could cause base infiltration challenging...

    "Realism" of GR Wildlands.

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 08:32 PM PDT

Wildlands was a hoot to play, I played easily over 500 hours on it and was entertaining as hell, but it comes to my attention that a lot of people praise WL over BP for its realism when for me it was various levels beyond unreal, so it's hard for me to praise it for that. What do people refer to when speak about realism in Wildlands?

Just to clarify, some of the unrealistic parts for me were:

    - Choppers, choppers everywhere! Real Bolivian Army have less than 10 choppers for the whole country. Unidad (a SOG from Bolivian Army) have substantially more and they have them parked on the wilderness like it's nothing.

    - Dual wield MAC 10's sniper druggies.

    - Kataris 26 painting all their vehicles with their logo and colours when they are supposed to be hunted by the cartel and the government.

    - Kataris 26 not only painting all their vehicles, but taking them for a ride into the cities and also inside of Unidad and cartel's bases, and them not reacting to it.

    - WL teachings: Do you know that cartel's gang members like to live only on brick, unfinished houses? They may accept a wood shack if there's a swamp or a lake nearby, but on every other occasion, brick houses it is!

    - I know the gang it's supposed to be formed in its majority by Mexicans, but the lack of real Bolivian accents, specially on the locals, is evident for anyone who knows the difference between them.

    - There's no way that a group of 4 armed gringos could spend 10 minutes on a Bolivian town without the authorities being informed by the populace. Anti American sentiment is a thing in Latin America in general, and in Bolivia in particular. How do I know? I live next door.

I understand that all of the above exist for gameplay purposes or lack of resources (Bolivian VO) but they are unrealistic choices nonetheless, so again, why people praise Wildlands for its realism?

    Wildlands vs breakpoint

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 03:59 PM PDT

So I tried both 6 hour trials to see which one I wanted to buy, how does breakpoint feel so dead there is nothing in the world going to wildlands feels 10x better it's full of life if only wildlands had the survival mechanics of breakpoint it would be the perfect ghost recon game..

How will the inclusion of AI teammates affect the storyline?

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 07:14 AM PDT

Forgive me if this has already been discussed , but how is the inclusion of AI teammates going to be addressed in regards to the plot/storyline? I was as disappointed as anyone with the lack of an AI team, but at least the lone survivor /Rambo solo play was part of the story. I still don't agree with Ubisofts decision for no teammates, but at least they made it a story point as to why. Early on in the game your teammates from Wildlands were accounted for. One killed and one wounded.

Considering this, how are AI teammates now going to be part of the story? Other Ghost survivors from the failed mission in the beginning? Members of the local populace that you can recruit, a la Far Cry 5?

For context, I never finished the main story, I got bored with it and I'm waiting on the TU with teammates to pick it back up.

Does anybody else wish they added light proof triple canopy in the original Wildlands release? As patrolled as BP too.

    Raided Bosses failing to trigger

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 04:46 PM PDT

In last few days I'd say 60% of Raid bosses did not spawn when all objectives met and all four players entered the ring that should trigger them. Instead the ring disappeared and we were left in limbo.. Anyone else experience this? Super frustrating and has put me off Raids. :/
