As a solo only player it was hard as balls, took me over 10 tries, required a bunch of determination, and frustrated the hell out of me, but it was totally worth it to run a side by side operation with my favorite Tom Clancy character. The Original Billy Badass Himself!

What I miss the most from Wildlands

    Posted: 01 Mar 2020 12:13 PM PST

With everything circling about how much better GRW was than Breakpoint, I just wanted to put in my own personal opinion on what I miss about Wildlands. So, the first of the two (i know this is said a lot) is the lack of NPC's. Their dialogue and assistance was what kept me alive and sane thought the explosiveness of singleplayer Wildlands. The second thing I miss was (I know, he got a little annoying at times) DJ Perrico's radio station. Hear me out, but this was the main reason I drove everywhere instead of fast traveling or taking a chopper because it gave the game some form of life that Breakpoint seems to lack. The third and final thing I miss was the lack of a gear score. The reason I miss this part is not because I hate the gear score now (it isnt great, but Ive worked around it) but I liked being able to have a loadout that was mine and could stay that way until the end of the game without needing to up the gear score. That's everything so if you got anything yall are missing you can comment (or not, i dont mind)

Does anyone else really struggle to find stuff on the Breakpoint map?

    Posted: 01 Mar 2020 01:37 PM PST

Maybe it's the color or icon selection, or the page being super cluttered, but I find it difficult to find objectives. Wildlands had a great map that was easy to navigate, but here I feel like it always takes me a minute to find what I'm looking for. Anyone else share this experience?

What is happening on the 5th?

When they said check back on the 5th does this mean that is when the update might happen or is it them telling us when to expect the update?

Best place for Breakpoint LFG? Not the subreddit as it is pretty dead and there hasn't been a post in days

    Posted: 01 Mar 2020 07:19 PM PST

I'm looking for places to LFG for breakpoint. I checked the ghost recon lfg subreddit but its dead, there hasn't been a post in 3 days. I've seen other dead LFGs for the game as well. Is there any active LFG's for breakpoint?

Does anyone own breakpoint and division 2?

    Posted: 01 Mar 2020 03:08 PM PST

Bit of a technical question, which requires a little explaining:

The Division 2 was just on a free weekend, and it was selling for 2.50, so me and a friend picked it up, really enjoying it, however my friend cannot run it, even on the lowest possible settings he's still getting micro stutters that can last 5 seconds just frozen, so its essentially unplayable, not sure why because the minimum requirements aren't exactly that much:

    Div2

    • Minimum – 1080p | 30 FPS
    • OS: Windows 7 | 8 | 10
    • CPU: AMD FX-6350 | Intel Core I5-2500K
    • RAM: 8 GM
    • GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270 | Nvidia Geforce GTX 670
    • VRAM: 2 GB
    • DIRECT X: DirectX 11 | 12

We also play battlefront 2, which has amazing graphics, and he can run that just fine:

    • CPU: AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5 6600K.
    • CPU SPEED: Info
    • RAM: 8 GB
    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
    • VIDEO CARD: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB
    • PIXEL SHADER: 5.0
    • VERTEX SHADER: 5.0
    • SOUND CARD: Yes
    • FREE DISK SPACE: 15 GB
    • DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 2048 MB

Which is why I am confused, because the specs are almost the same.

Anyway, this is about Breakpoint, so onto that. So I was thinking if he can't run division 2 whether Breakpoint could be a good alternative, I think the gameplay is similar in some ways, with the gear, levels, etc. General graphic looks, etc. But i'm wondering whether it is likely my friend would be able to run this? Unfortunately there is no free weekend to test it for this one so it would have to be a buy and find out kind of basis. Looking at the specs i'm thinking it might not, though i'm just wondering from someones perspective who's played both div2 and breakpoint whether the latter runs any better. Wondering whether div2 runs bad because its an mmo or something?

    Breakpoint:

    • Minimum – Low Setting | 1080p
    • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
    • CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200/Intel Core I5 4460
    • RAM: 8 GB
    • GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280X/Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 (4 GB)

Lastly, I will note that we have both also played through wildlands, the predecessor in the past, and that ran fine:

    • Operating System: MS Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64bit versions only)
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-4320 @ 4 GHz
    • RAM: 6GB
    • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 / AMD R9 270X (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)
    • DirectX: DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)
    • Sound: DirectX-compatible using the latest drivers
    • Hard Drive: 50 GB available space
    • Peripherals: Windows-compatible keyboard and mouse required, optional controller

Sorry for the long post, if anyones got any idea though would be most appreciated, thanks. =)
