    I think this needs to be said regarding Ubisoft, Coronavirus and the updates

    Ubi, we've given you a lot of shit for how this game has been released, updated and marketed and much of that has been justified. Community anger has sometimes gotten a little out of hand in frustration regarding communication and so on.

    I think it's fair to say you are as aware as anyone that Breakpoint was a bit of a clusterfuck and deserved the flack and somewhere along the command chain really poor decisions where made.

    Now, all that being said...

    If you need to delay anything due to concerns about the health of your staff, you should absolutely do it. Nobody on here in their right mind would choose a game being updated over the health and wellbeing of another person. I think I speak for the whole community in saying that in this time of uncertainty we completely understand if you must put the interests and very lives of your employees first.

    We can wait. We are patient. Sometimes we get pissed off and call out bullshit, but that doesn't mean we want people getting sick or being unable to care for sick family members.

    You guys do you. We'll still be here when the game is fully baked.

    I don't know about you but I simply cannot enjoy Ghost War PvP. Not in Wildlands, not in Breakpoint. Let's put it aside for a moment that it is intended to be played with 3 friends with microphones, or 3 strangers you gather from discord, with microphone. I think it safe to say that the overwhelming majority of games we play, dare I say above 90% is just random matchmaking, alone.

    The experience you get in Ghost War is the following: 8 players rushing to their favourite spot in ghille suit, crawling, than staying immobile and waiting for something in the distance to move. Whoever gets there first or sees the other first, wins. There are no tactical elements, no cover based firefights, no use for nearly the entire set of gadgets, explosives, everything in PvP, because the gameplay rules encourage this behaviour: lie in the grass, and don't you dare move.

    I think both games have everything they need to become a host of more varied PvP gameplay.

    We have the maps to host a simple team deathmatch - just no game mode for it.

    We have the maps to host cooperative wave-survival - just no game mode for it. Okay I wouldn't want this either, Mercenaries flopped, lesson learned.

    We have the energy wall tech battle royale games use - just no battle royale game mode (which would be absolutely perfect on Auroa with all the jungles and loot crates and sterile buildings, mind you).

    We have the ability to invite players into our game or matchmake and join random players' worlds - just not the ability to fight them here, that world create a Dark Souls-like invasion event where the joining player is a wolf, hunting the ghost.

    What we have is the worst possible combination: small maps, with high downtime due to 1 life rule (long matchmaking, long waiting between games, long scorescreens, the little gameplay we have is lying in the grass and getting oneshot from nowhere usually), with high requirement of communication that simply doesn't exist in 99% of the games. I mean sure, having missions here is nice, but when getting 10 kills for one can take up a whole afternoon... is it where you want to spend your time? Not only it's not fun, it's for 2-7 skill points.

    Just a quick mock up example - would you play this, over Ghost War?

    Wolf mode

    Introducing a brand new PvP mode, Wolf mode arrives! Much like in Watch_Dogs, Dark Souls and Bloodborne, this mode allows any player to become a wolf and "invade" another player's singleplayer open world.

    • The Wolf player:
    • Recieves radio activity alerts of Sentinels and Wolves along with vague map pings where in the island the Ghost player might be. Imagine it like seeing a heatmap of clues where the Ghost(s) might be, where they were. Keep in mind this is supposedly really inaccurate.
    • Can call in an Azrael plane drone with a long cooldown by clicking on the map he wants to scout. If the Ghost player cannot hide (and the radio messages / heatmap might give the information to the Wolf that the Ghost is in open combat and might not be able to hide in time).
    • Can see the otherwise invisible on map Wolf patrols and select them on the map and give them waypoints to go to. The map ping movement order of persistent wolf pack patrols isn't a spawn here button, they have to move real time. They can also be pinned to guard a certain location, so the Wolf player might encircle the Ghost player's general action area as he is trying to find him.
    • Sentinel and Wolf NPCs are not hostile towards the Wolf player, however will defend themselves and their assets (so opening a lootbox as a Wolf player should still be stealthy because it can trigger a fight). Becoming a Wolf in this mode is not for regular play, it's focused on hunting the other player.
    • Wolves are rewarded with extremely large experience for killing a Ghost and the Ghost player also has a low chance to drop cosmetics items (a copy, you don't lose anything).
    • There are exclusive rewards cosmetic rewards for killing Ghosts (to keep the game mode alive if the fun factor of it isn't enough).
    • Wolf players must choose an appearance of premade Wolf figures to fit into the game's concept as a Wolf.
    • The Wolf does NOT directly order around other Sentinel and Wolf soldiers through a command wheel like the Ghost can command AI teammates.
    • The Wolf also has AI teammates if the player has AI teammates. Stealth execution shots are disabled on players and AI teammates, however melee takedowns are possible for instant kill.
    • Wolves can fast travel to Wolf camps only.
    • The Ghost player:
    • Can disable / enable Wolf mode at any time like guided / exploration mode to play safe with no other player pressure. Extreme difficulty has Wolf mode always on! Wolf mode cannot be deactivated if there is an active Wolf player in your game already, if you let him in, let him hunt you, or you quit, but you are not allowed to kick out your hunter by disabling Wolf mode mid-hunt.
    • Always knows how many Wolves are hunting him. The number of Wolves in any Ghost's game is limited by the number of Ghosts (so 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 depending on the Ghost's party size). There is a warning message if a Wolf enters your game and a permanent warning message / icon up somewhere on the UI as long as a Wolf is in your game. (note: we don't know yet how AI teammates will work, are they optional or not, but the point is the same number of players vs the same number of players).
    • Ghosts are rewarded with extremely large experience for killing a Wolf and the Wolf player also has a low chance of dropping a cosmetic item of the selected premade Wolf model he uses.
    • Ghosts can no longer fast travel when a Wolf is in their game.

    Or if not this, just a simple TDM, with a set period of time available, may the best team with the most number of kills win, that's it. I want to play PvP in this game so bad, but it's just so discouraging, disheartening, boring, punishing and unfun these words hardly express it. And yes, you can say, I'm bad at it - you are propably right. But I'm also about to be 27 with about 2 decades of gaming experience so I'm not toddler or granny bad at this, it just makes me question if I should bother with it at all. And the answer is a definitive no. Can we get a mode for us filthy looked down upon casuals we can enjoy? (Also: see where Star Wars Battlefront 2 was before Galactic Conflict and after it).

    Personally I'd like to see an under barrel shotgun attachment for my one weapon play through. Or a flashlight attachment for more old school night ops.

    why is the rtx inventory crash in wildlands still a thing?

    I'm flying(I was sliding on a rock and then it just letted me run on what seems to be skybox, i couldn't do anything except running in the direction my character was facing)

    So in breakpoint I chose field medic but decided to switch to assault and I'm sick of switching between the two just to remove items to scrap! Is there a way to remove the second class?

    Don't get me wrong, I usually like civilians in games. For example in Wildlands they were a great asset in the game, but in breakpoint they are just annoying. When u infiltrate a base with civilians they will always shout and whimper every two seconds. It's like that coughing guy in Erewohn before the last update. also when they spot u before sentinel does, nothing happens. The Soldiers just don't care that theres a civi shouting oh god please no and stuff like that.

    And the worst part is when they start shouting mimimi get out of my personal space every god damn time u get close to a civi. I mean whats first thing what comes to ur mind when u see a heavily armed spec ops. U tell him to p*** off. Thats what a normal person would do, clearly.

    Now imagine if there were more civis in the game.

    So I know there's a lot of problems with Breakpoint but does anybody have this problem. It will not let me select bandages and equip them. No matter what. It's really annoying lol.
