Posted: 20 May 2021 09:14 AM PDT The healing and injury system in breakpoint is really fun! A quick summary of what you need to do to get the most out of it if your a new player: -Enemy difficulty set to advanced or higher (No HUD/enemy markers, no mini-map, no aim-assist HIGHLY recommended) -risk of injury set to always -Health regeneration turned off -Bandages set to minimum (three) -syringes set to "do not heal injuries" and set to minimum amount (recommend not even using them) A couple self-made rules: -no crafting of health packs unless at the bivouac. This will create a fun emergency when you are injured and out of bandages. You will need to find your way to a bivouac in order to heal or craft more. For an extra immersive challenge: no crafting of health packs unless standing in front of a medical table (found in skell tech locations and throughout the open world) Note: when entering the bandaging animation, you can cut it off using the cancel button and not use all of your bandages. This is useful when you need to preserve them. Note: if you want to create a more dangerous environment in the open world with more enemy activity, enable the resistance presence and do not use suppressors on your guns. This will create more challenging gunplay and enemy encounters as you travel, and thus engage the healing system more. [link] [comments]

So last night I played the original Ghost Recon for the first time... Posted: 20 May 2021 11:52 AM PDT ...and I got wiped the fuck out. Seriously, the original Ghost Recon is no joke with its one shot, one kill rule, and if you make the slightest mistake, you'll get annihilated. (I was playing on Veteran.) Hats off to the OG Ghost Recon players that actually managed to beat the game, that's a seriously impressive accomplishment. The beginning mission was way harder than Operation Watchman, Silent Spade SNAFU, or Brother vs Brother. I'm going to try again tonight and stream it, if you guys would like me to watch me die over and over again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkC-qzK0jx8 [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 May 2021 12:19 PM PDT The bullet throw item, the actual bullet changes depending on which gun you have out, if you have a 9mm pistol or smg you throw a 9mm round, if you have a sniper you throw a bigger .338 round. pretty cool attention to detail that I just noticed! Are Coop players ever gonna be thrown a bone? Posted: 20 May 2021 05:23 AM PDT I feel like this section of the playerbase has been largely ignored in the past few updates alongside who actually enjoy the pvp. This is especially in terms of the quality of life aspects of the game, e.g Seeing each other's lasers when using night vision, larger fireteams, the desync that still happens on occasion, Gunfire from the single shot setting being absent to teammates, IR indicators to identify each other at distance in the dark. There are a number of other matters I could name, but I have no intention of turning this into a rant. The game has barely seen any improvement in this regard for coop players, and that should change given the whole core focus of Ghost Recon is working with a TEAM, AI or otherwise. Some things I believe would help make this game better. Posted: 20 May 2021 02:49 PM PDT
I think these options would add to the game and its replay value greatly. These changes would mainly make the game world feel more alive and reactive to what we have been doing on the island, freeing up people, making sentinel and wolves add more security or a system where they hunt you. Also if you downvote please comment why. I wanna know what you disagree on and your ideas for the game [link] [comments]
