    A friendly reminder that rolling with no suppressors and the resistance enabled KICKS ASS (with no HUD of course)

    No suppressors while exploring the island and also having the resistance presence enabled is pure shooting bliss. Tons of exciting shoot outs as you travel across the landscape.

    Enemies home in on you when they hear you're shooting so you've always got enemies in multiple directions coming at you.

    I'm assuming it will be a live event or possibly a treasure hunt with rewards at the end. I think some here are going a bit extreme with the franchise is "officially dead" talk. If it is a live event, you don't have to choose to do it and can continue on with the game as normal. Ubisoft have worked hard at sticking with this game. They stated a few weeks ago they are basing their future updates on our feedback but wanted to add a few surprises into the mix. I'm assuming this is one of the surprises they wanted to add in for fun and give us something to do while they look towards bigger updates for year 2.

    I don't see how a little live event or scavenger hunt to celebrate a video game icon is going to be the downfall of the Ghost Recon franchise. I've played through the new trilogy of Tomb Raider games and loved them. You can cover yourself with mud and go stealthy, take downs are just as brutal as the ones in Breakpoint, and you also play in very similar biomes as Ghost Recon games.

    Anybody on here who've said they might enjoy this have been downvoted and people that work on this game constantly eat shit from this community for wanting to just add something fun into a video game. It will be over before you know it, probably added into the parameters section to toggle on/off, and bigger updates will arrive that will be more suited for the Ghosts who've followed this franchise from the beginning. I just got to reading all the negativty since this was announced and found it a bit frustrating.

    A DLC Idea

    So I had an idea for a possible DLC, which I know would probably not happen.

    It would take place in the Middle East (Meaning a medium sized new map of the middle east), at the time Walker and Nomad were there. They can really flesh out the characters here, and they can give more backstory and really go into detail about what went down, compared to the cutscenes we got. Something that I believe they can do is bring Scott Mitchell or someone else from GR lore into the mix, who would he working alongside you throughout the DLC.

    The overall story can stay the same, with Vaughn trying to lead, and the rest bullying him. They can dive into why Vaughn killed that civilian, and they can build it up throughout the whole story. It doesn't have to be a very long story, but long enough to sustain tension and interest.

    That's a really simple idea but I believe it could be interesting, and it would definitely be different from the drones and what not of Auroa. They can even have the enemies have different tactics when fighting you.

    When shooting a high-powered sniper rifle with the suppressor off, the crack of the gunshot will kick up bird sounds if there are birds in the area. so you hear some squawking/flapping along with the echo of your gun shot.

    I think it might be tied to actual birds being nearby because it does not happen every time.

    No HUD. Granted, this is on a low difficulty but it was still exciting playing like this. Found myself pretty immersed in it. Anyone else enjoy this game without a HUD?

    (Wildlands) Every once in awhile in all corners of the internet somebody can be found asking if there's anyone willing to play Mercenaries with them, you need eight people altogether to get the game mode working, and the game mode is completely dead. I play on Xbox One, and I need eight people that want that lone wolf outfit, that custom melee animation, and whatever rewards you can get from playing Mercenaries. You can comment here, we can organize a time to play, I'm usually good to play every single day around now. I don't even know how to play the mode, if it's fun I'll create a Discord for it, but for now I can add anyone interested to a group chat on Reddit.
