Some thoughts about vehicle usage, radiomen and response units of Sentinel Posted: 18 Oct 2020 07:05 AM PDT When playing PVE mode, i've found dissapointing that Sentinel don't use armored cars, attack helicopters and APCs at all. These vehicles just stand in camps waiting for us to use them(and they are not fun to use at all, but that's a whole another story). I would like to see in the future updates (if there will be any) dedicated crews for each type of vehicle i mentioned earlier, that will present in each camp (preferably being somewhere indoors, so we could not take them out easily) and whem the alarm rings, they just sprint to their vehicles, get in there and repel the attack. Also it will be good to see APCs, armored cars and attack helicopters as part of the convoys, and as part of the response units. Today Sentinel response unit, which is called in by radioman of the camp, consists of 1-2 cars filled with sentinel riflemen and shotgunners, and nothing more. I think that this is not enough to deal with the famous Ghosts, that endure even in the hardest situations, Sentinel could use some additional attack helicopter, APC, some small land drones with wheels (how are they called, Aamons?), some trucks filled not only with normal grunts, but with snipers, rocket soldiers and minigunners. Of course, it should be either truck, or APC, or attack helicopter and so on. As an alternative(or even addition) to changing the composition of response units, it would me nice give ability to radioman to continiously call in support and special behavior pattern, when he don't fight head on, but hide behind the backs of his comrades. So, here are my thoughts. What do you think? TL;DR: -In the future update i would like to see that Sentinel actually uses it's attack helicopters, APC, and armored cars. -Also it would be nice to have scarier force that responds to ghost attacks. -And finally, let radiomen continiously call in reinforcements. P.S.: english is my second language, sorry for mistakes. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Oct 2020 02:06 PM PDT The island that is covered by clouds to the east. Is it there for no reason? I'm very surprised that people continue to say it's for dlc when it's been there for well over a year. I'm also confused as to why they would even add it into the game if it is not going to be used. You would expect a AAA title to have more intelligence than a 5 year old. I love this game but it is probably one of the worst (new) games I've ever played solely because they have a giant island that you can't use whilst the island for raids (golem island) is tiny. They even have dessert camos added into the game... Am I just completely uneducated on this topic or is the game just set up horribly? [link] [comments]
What Happened to the Classic Helicopter Controls in Wildlands? Posted: 18 Oct 2020 03:48 PM PDT The helicopters in Breakpoint feel so stiff and un natural, I remember we had an option to change control schemes in WIldlands. The classic helicopter controls felt smooth, real, and natural. What happened to the helicopter control option? it was so much better flying helicopters that way. [link] [comments] |
