The interesting part is, on top of the visibly, much smaller activity on this sub (which I believe directly translates to dropped interest in the newest game). What little is left is mostly about Wildlands. Even the Age of Thy Screenshots seems to be over slowly that usually happens as a last thing people hold onto waiting for an update for the game but to have no faith whatsoever as a general atmosphere is something very rare. The biggest blow to any game or company isn't shittalking about their products but not caring anymore that it exists. I'm so glad this community isn't going the r/elitedangerous way and actually acts responsible. For the unitiatiated that sub is about another No Man's Sky except they promised all NMS promised for launch, just as a postlaunch update. Anyone holding those people responsible for their promises and fake marketing and not fixing bugs that plague that game for over a half decade is CRUCIFIED by that community as they are so far hopelesslsy believe while after 3 delays over the course of 1,5 years waiting for guild starships as the game's various other features such as live service storytelling (literally ingame blogposts) are being shut down and devs say, yeah this okay, trust me. Or they say nothing. The same is happening over here and I must say I'm fucking proud of this community. You can't be lied to, lured into a dream of what is coming, or what could this game be, how there is so much potential. Yes, there is, but the word potential greatness allows to this day for Frontier to get away with their shit, and they are self publishing, unlike Ubi Paris where the actual devs are working for a larger publisher who sets the deadlines. I'm proud of you all who went back to Wildlands, Future Soldier, some even GRAW1-2, and couldn't give less fuck about Breakpoint's "potential" and "promises" anymore. Don't allow them to control what you have fun with, to keep you on a string. Go play something else. Go out. Read. Whatever. Just if you think they are not worthy of it, stop giving them your attention. That's what fixed SWBF2 aswell, by the way. After the mtx cut out it lived for 2 weeks, now it's more alive, content rich and fun than ever before. [link] [comments] | ||

Continuing down this path is absolutely the right way to go. It's a lot more than I was expecting. Keep it up! However... I'm still just so mad about the lack of communication. It really felt like you just didn't care about the game or the community. I see now that I was wrong about that because this looks like a lot of hard work. But please... It isn't everything everyone wanted, of course, but as you guys said the mode will change, and adapt. I'm excited to play Breakpoint once again and I am excited to see what else will be coming to the game in the future, I'm thoroughly surprised and impressed with this intel drop and my faith in you guys caring has been restored, well at least a little bit. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Known Issues [Updated: March 05, 2020] Posted: 05 Mar 2020 09:12 AM PST Ghosts, The following is the current list of Known Issues for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. FUNCTIONALITY On consoles, enemies occasionally surround and attack players after spawning. When typing special characters in chat, players receive a message saying services are unavailable. Players experience issues when attempting to base-jump. Players have reported enemy vehicles spawning out of thin air in front of them. Trucks can sometimes experience issues after a nearby explosion. Ammo count resets in Bivouac for some players. Players have reported crashes in snow regions on following graphics cards: Nvidia GTX 1080, Nvidia GTX 980, and several other cards from the Nvidia GTX and AMD Radeon line. Vehicles can sometimes explode on their own. Out of video memory error crash. Thermal Vision/Unable to access equip¬ment. Players will respawn with a minor injury after a KIA. Enemy remains on alerted states indefinitely. Players can become stuck if they are killed while using the Medic's drone ability. Key NPCs in Erewhon take a long time to appear on console. Gunslinger perk is causing micro-stuttering for some players on PC. Some players are receiving Error Code: WHALERS-00301. Game does not launch on Uplay PC for some post-TU 1.1.0. Some helicopters are spawning upside down for players. Enemies can enter unresponsive state when losing visual contact with Nomad. Intel showing as unread after viewing. Notification icons are reappearing in the objective menu after logging out and back in. Skill details in the skill menu aren't fully visible to some players. MISSIONS In "Man of Confidence" Sergeant Kent will can become immortal after he is interrogated. Players unable to read intel on some faction missions. Side Mission "One Man's Hell" will unlock if the user skips in-between conversation multiple times. No dialogue option available to complete "Is Erewhon safe from recon drones?" ANIMATIONS/VISUALS When it is raining in-game, some players are noticing rain inside buildings. Rocks have missing textures and are seen floating in multiple places on the map. Some NPCs may open their eyes after being killed. Magazines on the vest don't match the load-out equipped. Occasionally part of the beard is showing while aiming down sight. Some reload animations can be missing, specifically regarding the LMG animation belt and the M82. Players may notice visual issues with rail cover attachment. Some players have reported issues with render distances in some areas NVG block crosshairs view when in 3rd person ADS mode. "Lorem ipsu anim 4 not started" appearing as fixed text for some players. Ammo pouches on Wolf vests are often showing as green in color. On Stadia and in 4K, some skill descriptions are cut off at the edges of the screen. Pouches on the Cross Draw Vest are missing for players. Binoculars are not appearing for some in Photo Mode. Players are experiencing visual issues with belts. Missing level art in building at Main Pumping Station Loot setting markers are still appearing if the HUD is disabled. C4 appears attached to the inside of Nomad's wrist when equipped. AUDIO Enemies shout out as if they are in alerted state, but aren't Muffled and interrupted sounds can be noticed on R&D map in both PvP and PvE. ITEMS Item wheel selection is stuck. Warrior Ghillie Pants no longer showing up in the inventory for some players. Players are experiencing clipping issues on some cosmetic items. WEAPONS Bad muzzle placement on Zastava M93 sniper rifle. Signature weapon doesn't match Nomad promotional material. Character can sometimes be seen holding weapons incorrectly. LMG Stoner Compact view with ACOG is experiencing camera clipping issues. Weapons are clipping through the Fury Crye AVS backpack. GHOST WAR Enabling the Sacrifice perk at the start of a match can cause an issue with the mechanics of the ability. Stamina creating issues with the pacing of Ghost War. Strafing is causing difficulty with aim assist in PvP for console players. Certain steps increase Sniper and DMR damage significantly PvP mission counter not actualizing correctly and leaving some unable to receive new missions. WORLD/MAP Spawn killing is possible on R&D Center map. A bug may be fixed in the next update even if it is not marked as such above. Our team will be making every effort possible to address the issues present as soon as we can. We greatly appreciate all the feedback that you provided us already, and please continue to do so. A take on Inventory and making a harder experience Posted: 05 Mar 2020 03:15 PM PST After we got the intel drop today, I got thrilled. I still choose to remain carefully optimistic, but this is a leap in the right direction! I believe what we need is communication because this proves that they are working on the game. Now to the point: I want to make a proposal, and at the same time, hear what the community here think of this idea which I am spending an awfully long time getting to the point of presenting. Firstly, I want to explain, I have been playing a lot of Tarkov lately, and while I am not really into PvP, what really dragged me into that game was their inventory system, RPG, and risk with each run. SO to the point: I want to propose, or hear your thoughts on this: Instead of getting a permadeath mode down the line (if that is a plan), I think it would be nice if they made a game-mode where gear-loss was a thing. It could be similar to Tarkov, where you lose what you have equipped when you die, but then you can have a backup in your stash, requiring you to loot and maintain multiple loadouts which you can not bring with you out into the world. With this, if possible, we could get a new inventory system where player inventory is limited. Still, agian, having a stash changes things so you can unload valuables, and sell junk etc. Sadly, I am not as good as other community members with making mockups, etc. But yeah, just the risk of losing something when you play sounds very appealing to me. The reason I want to hear the community opinion on this is because if anyone else other than me is interested in something like this, I would very much like the devs to see and evaluate it so that we MIGHT get it down the line. So yeah. I'd be happy to hear what you think. Hopefully, we can have a discussion, and I maybe we can "develop" some ideas which someone could make into a post or something which then somehow can be shown to devs. So what do people think? :) [link] [comments] | ||
