Pretty excited about this picture I got last night and don’t have anywhere else to share it

I know takedowns aren't usually a priority, but this one should be in the game. Along with other quick variations like it. And also, remove the slope/hill context and allow all those awesome takedowns to trigger on flat terrain too. Anyways...

Has anyone noticed that .50 cal is not in the game?

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:55 PM PST

All the .50 cal weapon platforms use .338 ammo for some reason.
HTI runs .50 BMG irl so does the M82 and it's in the name of the tac 50 but if you look at the weapon card with the stats they all say .338 not .50 Same thing goes for the desert eagle it also uses .338
Am i nuts or is the game wrong?

How to do AI team mates right in breakpoint

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:15 PM PST

    1. Recruit from Erewhon, where a changing pool of recruits is available. Some are low qualified locals, Some are wounded Ghosts, some perhaps even mercs.
    2. Recruits get XP and get beter in different skills like stealth, aim and grenade throwing. Even unskilled locals can become adequate under your leadership.
    3. Wounded Ghosts need to be liberated from captivity before they are available. They are skilled but may have negative buffs from injury.
    4. You get to equip camo and weapons on your team and this changes their appearance
    5. They can get KIA or wounded in action. There is permadeath. Rushing a base without considering safety is a real risk.
    6. Sync shots!

    Melee Customization Ideas

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:52 PM PST

I'm putting this out here just in case no one else thought of it. I'd like to see Tomahawks and Machetes as melee customization sometime in the future.

    Any other Melee ideas?

    Immersive navigation gear

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:21 PM PST

In the spirit of coming update which will bring more immersion options into breakpoint, there is one detail that could be greatly improved in that direction and its how the navigational aids are handled.

It would be cool if a map and compass and/or gps were actual items that you would see your character use. Good example of this feature can be found in the game Full Spectrum warrior https://youtu.be/uvqERSD7ZAI?t=313

Right now that map menu feels a bit off and more akin to paused game escape menu, than a part of the active gameplay. Navigation is a big part of warfare and if made in a more interactive way and coupled with those upcoming immersion features (no HUD), could make overall game even better.

Is Ghost Recon the franchise that a lot of people misinterpret?

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 05:24 AM PST

Ghost Recon, as a franchise, is based on fictionalised squad based tactical gameplay. It includes elements of stealth, but also strategy, action and narrative amongst others. It seems a lot of gamers inside and outside this community want to play the ghosts in their own way - and Ubi accommodated that by including classes. So we have a lot of people wanting to play stealth - RPing Splinter Cell franchise. We have a lot of people wanting to breach RPing Rainbow 6, and others just playing it like a milsim. Elements of these were touched on in Wildlands - with crossovers happening in missions. But there's a danger that the Ghosts are losing (or even have lost) their identity - it's being diluted by the design choice to try and please everyone. Instead - should the next GR game not be a GR game - but a new franchise where the class you choose is either Ghosts (tactical), 4th Echelon (stealth), Rainbow (breach / assault) - by having these as the classes rather than sub classes within the ghosts - it gives these teams more identity and players more choice on how they want to play.

Just a thought. Would be good to hear your opinions.

Can we get the crye g3 shirt with the rolled sleeves back?

    Posted: 06 Mar 2020 08:43 PM PST

I mean, it was a shirt in wildlands, why is it absent from breakpoint? Can we please have it back?

    Mercenaries on PC

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 08:15 PM PST

Have ever one of you, reddit users, played a match of mercenaries on PC? I can't since i bought the game a month ago.

If anyone knows a workaround to play, please post it, and if someone can show this to Ubisoft to fix the multiplayer, would be great.
