    Review from a casual ghost recon player and his buddies...

    Me and 3 of my buddies picked this game up when it was on sale for the PS4. Figured we loved Wildlands despite its flaws so this could only be an improvement, right?

    Wrong. We've played for maybe 3 hours and have run into so many bugs and visual glitches it's unreal. The gunplay is ass, everything about this game is ass. I don't understand how they made Wildlands and didn't improve on it.

    Like literally everything is just bad - the healing, the gunsmith, the driving and flying, the realistic injuries or whatever is supposed to happen when you fall down a hill, the menus, the HUD, MY god the HUD...

    In the 3 hours we've played, one guy wasn't able to shoot any of his guns for a solid hour, everyone's backpacks were glitching 29 feet into the air, one guys game crashed in 2 seperate cutscenes, I was continually spawn killed by a heli, the AI wasn't capable of getting into a vehicle or boat so we had to walk him to the objective, just so much wrong with this game.

    It blows my mind they could release a game this unpolished.

    Cutscenes are dope though.

    Finally picked this up on a deep sale ($14), finding some stuff to like about it but god damn does the shooting feel weightless. The guns would sound bad for a F2P game released 5 years ago.

    Wrong beard color.

    I know this is really small and dumb to even notice about but am i the only one to notice that Nomad is supposed to have a brown beard (Like in all the art and gameplay trailers) but his figurine has a black beard.

    Does the game run better on Xbox One or PS4 (non-4K consoles)

    Considering getting the game digitally today, but unsure which platform to get it on. I have the SAD Xbox, so preferably I'd want to keep most of my digital purchases tied to that, but Microsoft also charges tax, making it more expensive to purchase here in Ontario (13% tax).

    If performance is better, it may be worth it to pay the extra $6 for the Gold edition.
