There are 3 remaining things they can change/add to Breakpoint that would make this game feel finished, if they were to stop working on it later this year

My favorite shot I've taken in Breakpoint, for fanciness.

I usually hate posts like this, because it's usually just people bitching and moaning, but with the future of Breakpoint unknown, I hope the devs at the very least do these three things before they stop working on the game, to make the game feel finished, where I could play it in 5 years again and feel like it's a great game. I'm adding images to make this post look fancy, and maybe the devs will take it more seriously. Also, keep in mind I am an Immersive Mode player, so none of this is related to the Raids or PVP, just PVE.

    Speed up body pickup animations

Speed up body pickup animations. This has been a constant complaint and surprised it hasn't been part of any of the updates yet. Picking up bodies is pretty useless right now. It's so unrealistically slow. You can show Nomad struggling to pick it up while also giving him a sense of urgency. Assassin's Creed does it perfectly, and of course Splinter Cell as well. This could also go for ladder animations. Both body pickups and ladder animations have this weird delay at the start and end that just makes it look like a beta function. Moving bodies is a key part of playing stealth, but right now it's just frustrating and usually I don't even bother. It's easier and safer to just take out potential spotters like we did in Wildlands, or wait for the body to disappear. On top of that, the grabbing animations shouldn't show a fisticuffs fight break out if you grabbed them undetected from behind. Maybe a slight struggle would make sense, but to see them all out brawling makes no sense. If we grabbed while detected or come up to their eye line, then a fight makes sense. Grabbing from stealth should be quick and mostly painless.

    Add the blood effects back

Add the blood effects back. Not really sure why they were removed. Some people say it was censorship for certain countries, others say it was to safe performance. Either way, neither are an excuse for a rated M Tom Clancy game. It's not that we all get our jollies from seeing blood spatter, but that it just ruins the immersion completely for a game that focuses on a tactical military immersive experience. Every other major shooter franchise has it.

    Add more knife takedown animations

Add more knife takedown animations. 90% of the time we takedown people on flat surface from in front or behind, so we only ever see 2 animations. It gets pretty old, especially considering the variety of animations there are total in other positions, like prone, on an incline, from a bush, etc. Adding a couple more to the standing/crouching front and back takedowns for each knife type would make the game feel that much more immersive and not as stale.

BONUS: Add a mission creator. This game would thrive for years if a mission creator was added, letting us set the area, enemies, objectives. This is really just a wish for me, and figured I'd throw it in here. They did something similar in AC Odyssey, which runs the same engine, so it's definitely possible. I think it would add value to this game immensely and let us play how we want to play after finishing the story.

    ------

Of course, more bug fixes would be nice too, but that's a given and they're slowly getting to those anyway. The big one I want fixed is the cutscene camera. It still is either way too zoomed in or just looking at something completely random and is really unprofessional looking on their part. The other big one is the weird glow shown on players, shown here, it drives me crazy (on Xbox) and I'm glad someone made a post on that.

Obviously there are tons of other suggestions people have but these are the big ones I think will make this game feel less like a glorified beta and more like a complete game we should have had at launch. Each update has gotten it closer and closer, and I commend the devs for doing so and not just abandoning it.

EDIT: like I said, this isn't an exhaustive list of things we all want added. This is more of a realistic request that I think they could do in one last update if that was what was going to happen.

How to customize (currently) unpaintable gear. Video tutorial.

I saw a recent post on here showing off a bodark top that was full black, after finding the video tutorial on Youtube on how to do it I realized is was slightly different on PC and since I saw some comments about it I made a simple text tutorial. It's super easy to do and if you follow the steps it's very easy to do on console as well. Also PLEASE UBI do not patch this out just to be an ass, let us enjoy something we've been asking about for a long as time... https://youtu.be/N5AsENEbQtQ

If Ubi were to improve the survival mechanics in breakpoint, what would you like to see?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 01:39 PM PST

I'd love a more in depth injury system, and maybe some improvements to stamina as atm running out of stamina barely happens. Also, the enemy hunting us down more, with the player being more like a fugitive would be awesome. Something that is kinda missed potential is how you are meant to be a lone survivor, hunted by the enemy and yet the only people "hunting" for you are the occasional patrol walking in circles.

Still haven’t added blood splatter back in.... is this a joke

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 07:03 AM PST

The blood effects were the only thing better about this game than wildlands and they go fuck that up, what the hell. I get the game is shaky and whatever but this is just pathetic. I mean there are still poorly rendered bullet holes and ugly blood pools but they need the blood splatter back, I want to see the blood hit the wall behind them when you snipe someone just as you could when it was in fucking beta and up until about mid 2020. And I like this game, new update is dope, imagine all that shit together without the hud. The shit blood affects and body disappearing ruins the immersion. Is there any chance they'll fix this shit because this is seriously substandard. And seriously??? quickly disappearing bodies. I know I'm not the only one who wants this back in the game. It's fucking 2021 and it's a game about war and shit. And they have these brutal cqb animations were the throat gets slit and there is NOTHING that sprays on to the ground. Like omfg, fix it

    Anti Material and Heavier Weapons

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 08:04 AM PST

This is sort of a things I wanna see post but mainly I'm curious what the community thinks about the concept. One thing I've noticed in Breakpoint is the utter lack of anti material weapons when there is such an abundance of armored, light armor and other things that you need to destroy other than people. Now I get javelins and TOW missiles don't make a lot of sense for ghosts or sentinel to carry but to see rifles chambered in 50 Beowulf, 458 SOCOM, 450 Bushmaster, 12.7x55 would make sense to me. Yes most of those rounds weren't designed for anti material purposes but could be pushed into that role and offer a new dynamic to dealing with harder targets in close that are problematic for most standard weapons. Then for medium ranges having weapons like Sig Sauer's MG338 and the SVDK in 9.3x64 Brenneke especially as each was tested for that role by US and Russian special operations (respectively, to my knowledge not both by each) as well as adding in other standalone grenade launchers for variety.

Curious to hear what everyone uses as their go to weapons. What is your favorite primary and set up for it? Mine has always been the M4 or the MP7 but since they added the 4-AC I've been hooked.
