Ghost Recon Breakpoint: My Ideas for some fixes and improvements

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 03:24 PM PDT

It's great to see that Ubisoft is trying to fix the weapon customization issues. I love to see that we are getting the TA31 on some assault rifles and that we will be able to change barrel lengths. I did want to add some ideas for the devs though and here they are.

    Forend Attachments:

Foregrips: Let us use all grips on all guns that accept them. This would help us create our own unique weapon and let us use the raid specific ones more.

Grenade Launchers: Bring back some of the launchers that we had in Wildlands. Some of the others looked better on some guns than just the one we got.

Underbarrel Shotgun: It would be really cool to get an underbarrel shotgun or two. We could get a mag fed one like the one Buck uses in Siege. We could also get a pump-action one as well.

    Stocks:

We should be able to choose which stock we want from all those that they have added for each gun. I personally like the thumb hole stock on the 416 and would love to be able to use it on a 416 with a loner barrel like the dmr version.

    New Weapons:

I would like to see the return of some of the primaries that we had in Wildlands. These would include the following:

    - m16

    - m60

    - U100

    - L85

    - FAL

    - PP19

    - Scar L

    - 556xi

    - G2

    - R5 RGP

    - ACR

    - MK249

    - PSG

    - 9mm C1

    - M40

    - SR25

    - M110

    - Honey Badger

    - AA 12

It would also be cool to see some new weapons like an rpk or an olympia like double barrel shotgun.

    Secondary weapons:

New Weapons: I would love for the machine pistols to make a return. It would be cool to see an smg11, smg12, cz75, glock 18, skorpion, and a micro uzi. If we get these, it would be necessary to be able to put suppressors and other muzzle options as well as different magazine options on them. It seemed like they were bad in Wildlands because stealth really wasn't an option with them. It would also be great to get the super shorty back as a secondary option.

Attachments: It would be nice to be able to equip longer magazines on most pistols and a micro red dot would be great.

    Personal Customization:

We really need an ability to choose what kinds of magazine pouches we use as well as the positioning and number of. It makes no sense to use an AK or a Scar H and have a vest covered in p-mags. This would make some of the vests, especially the chest rigs, much better looking. I think it would also be great to be able to choose whether we have the battle belt or not. We went from being forced to use a backpack to having a massive irremovable belt on. I would also like to see the ability to choose between out headset being mounted on the helmet or being worn under them. A fix to the ghillie suits would be nice as well. They looked much better in Wildlands with the hood and i hate running around Breakpoint looking like a bear wearing a boonie hat.

If yall have any additional ideas put them in a comment and ill add them to the list.

(Edit)- it would be a nice addition for Ubisoft to limit us to one primary. It makes combat more interesting and means you can't pull an m4 out of your ass when you miss your sniper shot.

Ubisoft needs to fix the running animation when carrying a pistol. Notice, he first flails his arms around, then once my stamina is around halfway, he starts running normally. It also appears that when the animation changes, my character also sprints faster.

Battle Points for the Terminator Event?

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 03:55 PM PDT

First of all, I know it says 0 days left for the battle rewards, but I still got points for it when I did the first Terminator mission, I have only one more mission to do but afterwards I'll only be tier 6? Is there another way to get points afterwards? I checked the faction missions and nothing talks about battle points.

    Question about Breakpoint

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 07:29 PM PDT

On my current Breakpoint play through, I made Nomad a female. My question is that if I use one of the male character skins (Male Nomad, Fixit, Vasily) and go into a cutscene will it still be the female voice or will it be the male voice actor

    no more daily challenges? (Wildlands)

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 07:26 AM PDT

"no challenges available" is the message that pops up when I try to check, I'm assuming it's the same for everyone else; has Ubisoft pulled support for Wildlands?

EDIT: nm, looks like it's back now - but the community challenge is only at 1082/10000 as of posting, so clearly the challenges have been unavailable

    Missions play through order

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 02:09 PM PDT

I recently started playing the game and have mostly been playing the core missions.

For those that have been playing for a while already, would you recommend playing the missions in any particular order? That is the core missions, faction missions, side missions. I did want to follow the storyline to see everything develop and get the best experience. Are the different types of missions all the same level of difficulty or are some types harder than others?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    PVP, noob.

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 10:21 AM PDT

    Guys any expert tips?

I have seen players with records like 2000kills vs 1200deaths. And something alike for victories.

Well I've only played about 80 matches.

I've followed some advice from this subreddit such as:

    stick to your team,

give as much info as possible to your team (which not many of the teammates I get actually do not even those with great records)

Understand game logistics on PVP vs PVE like how the silencer works or the drones.

Understand and learn the maps. (I still have to work a lot on this, where supplies are and higher vs lower grounds)

Understand your weakness and strengths (I'm not so fast so I really have to do my best to be the first one to spot the enemy)

What would your advice be? What have you heard that really worked for you? Any weapons I should stay away from? Any preferred weapons ? I'm sure a weapon in PVE doesn't really perform the same in PVP.

Pd: I do see some members in the chats call others cheaters. Other than the chicken dance and the lag glitch, are there other ways people cheat? Maybe they're just mad and hating I'm sure.

Also one quick word to those that think they're good but they just talk shit about others. Maybe if you help them you would win and your records would be even better. Btw google translate exists and we can easily tell if you're an asshole or not.

    Thanks In advance ghosts!
